摘要： A washing machine includes a cabinet; an outer basket in the cabinet and configured to contain wash water; an inner basket in the outer basket and configured to accommodate laundry; a water supply valve unit in the cabinet and connected to an external water supply source to receive wash water; a cabinet cover on an upper side of the cabinet and having an input hole for the laundry; and a micro-bubble generator configured to receive wash water from the water supply valve unit, generate micro-bubbles, and supply the micro-bubbles to a washing space. The micro-bubble generator includes a nozzle unit at or near the input hole and configured to generate micro-bubbles by receive wash water in which gas is dissolved or mixed and discharge wash water having the micro-bubbles therein into the inner basket after the micro-bubbles are generated.

摘要： A microbubble generating device that is capable of generating microbubbles from contaminated water is provided. The microbubble generating device 10 according to the present invention includes a liquid flow path 11 through which a pressurized liquid flows, a discharge path 12 through which generated microbubbles and a liquid are discharged, a throat part 13 that connects the liquid flow path 11 and the discharge path 12, and that has a flow path area smaller than the area of the liquid flow path 11 or the discharge path 12, and a gas supply path 14 for supplying a gas into the liquid flow path 11 or the throat part 13, wherein the gas supply path 14 has an exit end 143 that opens toward the downstream side of the liquid flow.

摘要： An aeration system for a submerged membrane module has a set of aerators connected to an air blower, valves and a controller adapted to alternately provide a higher rate or air flow and a lower rate of air flow in repeated cycles. In an embodiment, the air blower, valves and controller, simultaneously provide the alternating air flow to two or more sets of aerators such that the total air flow is constant, allowing the blower to be operated at a constant speed. In another embodiment, the repeated cycles are of short duration. Transient flow conditions result in the tank water which helps avoid dead spaces and assists in agitating the membranes.

The device and diffusers are lifted from the bottom of the tank until there is a clearance between the diffusers and the bottom of the tank, and then a pulling member attached to the pivot extraction point is pulled to pivot the device and the diffusers to align the diffusers with the hole. The diffusers and the device can then be extracted vertically through the hole.

摘要： A wastewater treatment plant includes (i) an aeration vessel having a bottom portion, a top portion and a side portion disposed therebetween to hold a quantity of wastewater, the top portion and the bottom portion being disposed at least 20 feet apart from one and the other to define a depth, the depth being capable of being substantially filled with wastewater; (ii) a coarse bubble diffuser disposed proximal to the bottom portion, the diffuser having a plurality of orifices orientated horizontally toward the side portion; the orifices having a diameter of at least 0.125 inches; and (iii) a source of enriched oxygen gas in fluid communication with the diffuser; wherein the enriched oxygen gas exiting the orifices prevents settling of solid components of the wastewater without the use of a mechanical mixer. Further, the depth of the aeration vessel may be at least about 20 feet or deeper, for instance at least about 30 feet or deeper. A method for treating wastewater includes the steps of (i) providing a first deep and enclosed aeration vessel; the vessel having a depth of at least about 20 feet; (ii) providing wastewater having dissolved solids to substantially fill the vessel; and (iii) providing enriched oxygen gas at the bottom of the vessel through a coarse bubble diffuser at a sufficient flow to prevent settling of the solids without then need for a mechanical mixer.
