    • It is provided an automatic MDF control system comprising: a plurality of matrix boards provided with openings in locations where a plurality of first wires and second wires cross without electrical connections; a robot which inserts electrically conductive connecting pins into the openings and connects the first wires with the second wires where the pins are inserted; a path data conversion unit converting connection requests from an operating terminal into path data having a plurality of addresses of the openings; a robot command conversion unit receiving the path data and converting the path data into robot commands for controlling activity of the robot as a distance moved by the robot moving between the plurality of addresses being reduced by a selected sequence of the converted path data; and a robot control unit controlling the activity of the robot based on the robot commands. In this way, when path data is converted into robot commands, the addresses of the openings of the matrix boards contained in the path data are re-listed as the distance moved by the robot is, for example, as short as possible and therefore wasteful movement by the robot is avoided.

    • A telecentric lens optical system includes: a front lens group; a rear lens group having a front focal point coinciding with a rear focal point of the front lens unit; and diaphragm mechanisms, each of which is disposed at a position where the rear focal point of the front lens unit and the front focal point of the rear lens unit coincide with each other. One of the front lens group and the rear lens group is provided by a plurality of variable magnification lens groups.     • A bright and dark field switching device, according to the present invention, comprises a glare-proof filter 31 and a condenser lens 32 for a dark field, a guide mechanism 40, and a switching mechanism 60. The glare-proof filter 31 and the condenser lens 32 for a dark field are arranged on both sides with an optical path L of an illuminating optical system interposed therebetween. The guide mechanism 40 holds the glare-proof filter 31 and the condenser lens 32 for a dark field such that they can be moved to the optical path L and can be returned from the optical path L. The switching mechanism 60 moves the glare-proof filter 31 and the condenser lens 32 for a dark field to the optical path L and returns them from the optical path L. Further, the switching mechanism 60 moves the glare-proof filter 31 together so as to position the same on the optical path L only when returning the condenser lens 32 for a dark field from the optical path L.
