    • Disclosed herein is an image processing apparatus, in which an object image focused by a lens is split into a plurality of images by means of a light splitting section. These images are converted into image data items by a plurality of imaging devices which are arranged with their imaging area overlapping in part. The image data items are stored temporarily in an image storing section. A displacement detecting section detects displacement coefficients (rotation angle R and parallel displacement S) from the image signals representing the mutual overlap region of two images which are to be combined and which are represented by two image data items read from the image storing section. The position of any specified pixel of the image displayed is identified by the pixel signal generated by the corresponding pixel of any imaging device. An interpolation section performs interpolation on the pixel values of the imaging device, thereby correcting the values of the other pixels of the image displayed and ultimately generating interpolated image signals. The interpolated image signals are combined with the image signals produced by the imaging device, whereby a display section displays a high-resolution image.

    • The pinch pressure-adjusting device comprises a pair of pinch roller-supporting members which rotatably hold the paired pinch rollers and whose pivotal shaft is set in parallel with the rotary shafts of said paired pinch rollers; a first urging member, one end of which is fixed to one of the paired pinch roller-supporting members; a second urging member, one end of which is fixed to the other of the paired pinch roller-supporting members; and a movable member which is fixed to the other end of the first urging member and to the other end of the second urging member. The movable member is shifted between a first position in which the movable member is more spaced from one of the paired pinch roller-supporting members than from the other thereof and a second position in which the movable member is more spaced from the other of the paired pinch roller-supporting members than from the one thereof. When the tape travels in a direction from the other of the paired pinch rollers to the one thereof, the movable member takes the first position to cause the first urging member to produce a greater urging force than the second urging member, and, when the tape travels in the opposite direction between the paired pinch rollers, the movable member takes the second position to cause the second urging member to produce a greater urging force than the first urging member.

    • A control apparatus for controlling a microcassette tape transport of one motor type includes a first designation means (106) for designating a constant speed transport mode, a rewind mode, and a fast forward mode; a second designation means (124) for designation a direction of the motor rotation; a third designating means (122) for designating a direction of the tape transport. In order to effect the control of a tape transport on the basis of the combination of designations by the first, second and third designation means, the apparatus further includes a first memory means (301) which operates, e.g. when the operation mode shifts from the constant speed transport mode to the rewind mode, and is used when a direction of the motor rotation is switched; a second memory means (401) which operates from the detection of the tape end until the motor stops and reverses its direction of the rotation, and provides a signal of the tape end detection; a third memory means (601) which operates when the operation mode shifts from the constant speed transport mode to the rewind mode or when it is returned from the rewind mode to the constant speed transport mode, and is used to distinguish between the rewind mode and the fast forward mode; a fourth memory means (701) which operates, e.g. when the operation mode shifts from the constant speed transport mode to the rewind mode or the fast forward mode, and is used to change a speed of the motor rotation so that the motor is rotated at high speed in the rewind mode or the fast forward mode; a fifth memory means (801) which operates, e.g. when the operation mode shifts from the constant speed transport mode to the rewind mode, and decides the rotation and stop of the motor; whereby memory states of said first, fourth and fifth memory means are determined depending on the memory contents of said first to fifth memory means and designations by said first to third designation means.
