摘要： In a process for cooling and atomizing liquid or pasty substances or mixtures of substances, a liquid or pasty substance/mixture of substances is combined with liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide and then the mixture of liquid or pasty substance/mixture of substances and liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide is expanded. An apparatus for cooling liquid or pasty substances or mixtures of substances has a storage vessel for the liquid or pasty substance/mixture of substances, to which is allocated a line in which a device for transporting the liquid or pasty substance/mixture of substances is disposed. The apparatus has a source of liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide, to which source is allocated a line, and it has a connection point via which the line allocated to the storage vessel for the liquid or pasty substance/mixture of substances is connected to the line allocated to the source of liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide, and which has an expansion apparatus.
