摘要： A method and a multi-platen press for the practice of the process for the manufacture of wood material boards, especially OSB boards, in which an endless mat is formed from a wood chip and binding agent mixture. The mat is introduced between the heated press platens of a multi-platen press, the press platens have steam openings directed at the mat and by steam and contact heat from press platens they are heated, pressed and cured into wood material boards. The mat, formed from a wood chip and phenolic resin mixture, is introduced into the level(s) of a single-stage or multi-stage press and deposited therein. After a light precompression, the introduction of a small amount of steam with a low steam temperature takes place through the press platens only in the cover layers of the mat. The mat is quickly compressed and cured to the end thickness of the board.

摘要： A process for the production of a fiber web on a movable, gas-permeable surface of a continuous laydown belt which is under vacuum and which forms a distribution chamber. After the fibers are mechanically opened, the fiber flow is conducted into the distribution chamber by means of an air current and additional air currents are delivered to the distribution chamber. An additional air current is introduced into the distribution chamber for the purpose of preventing a lumping together of fibers prior to the laydown in the web while the carrying air current is delivered to the distribution chamber in a nozzle-shaped chute. After the fibers have been laid down in a web, the web is precompressed by means of a controllable vacuum.

摘要： Simultaneous removal from a multi-level press of all press trays carrying particle board panels is achieved with a press unloading installation. Such installation consists of a vertically movable press unloader cage having chain conveyor pairs, primary supports for the press trays and panels, and auxiliary supports for the trays alone after separation from the panels. The installation further includes a discharge device for removing the press trays from the auxiliary supports of the unloader cage. In order to shorten the return transport of flexible press trays, separation between the finished pressed particle board panels and the flexible press trays is accomplished in the press unloader cage.

摘要： Veneer panels which are to be joined in a plurality of layers one above the other and one behind the other are assembled and glued to form an endless strand of veneer laminates. In the process, the veneer panels are first fed in through a glue-application machine which applies a layer of glue on a top side of the veneer panels onto a buffer belt. The veneer panels are then transferred from the buffer belt to a horizontally reversing feed belt which forms on a roller table a first veneer assembly comprising a plurality of veneer panels. The first veneer assembly is raised about its front end by an angle .alpha. into an oblique position so that veneer panels of a subsequent veneer assembly can be threaded into the first veneer assembly using the horizontally reversing feed belt. The first and subsequent veneer assemblies are thereby combined into a veneer-panel strand, and transferred to a continuously operating prepress and press.
