摘要： A finishing shroud for a downlight includes an annular body including an upper section extending downward from a rim to a lower section extending downward from the upper section to a horizontal flange extending outward radially to a perimeter extremity. The upper section has tensionable couplings extending outward from the upper section to contact surfaces configured to frictionally engage an inner surface of a downlight housing. A light-flow pathway extends through the annular body from an inlet defined by the rim to an outlet defined by the lower section. A finishing flange extends outward radially from the perimeter extremity to a perimeter edge, is tensionable, has a normal orientation extending upward from the horizontal flange to the perimeter edge, and is tensioned when flexed out of the normal orientation to an activated orientation.

摘要： A product-spreading hood assembly (10) for use with a die unit (128) includes a deflector (14) having wall structure defining a product inlet opening (90) and a product outlet opening (92); the deflector (14) is preferably generally frustoconical in shape and is supported by a housing (12). An optional air delivery assembly (16) allows air currents to be directed from the area of the inlet (90) towards outlet (92) to facilitate separation of discrete products. Advantageously, the air currents are delivered in a circumferential fashion about the die unit (128). Use of the hood assembly (10) serves to separate high moisture or “sticky” extrudates, thereby preventing agglomeration thereof.

A fastening system extends over the coil, bracket and the protector and compresses the bracket against the coil. The bracket inhibits transmission of the compressive force of the fastening system to the protector and thereby shields the protector from damaging force. In another configuration, a sleeve receives the protector, and the fastening system extends only over the sleeve rather than over the protector.

摘要： A telephone subscriber loop testing system is disclosed which can be used for performing standard ringer continuity, noise, leakage, short circuit, and foreign voltage tests over exceptionally long subscriber loops. The sensitivity of the ringer ballistic test is enhanced by placing the reversing switch (which serves to discharge the line) at a location remote from the central office test desk and relatively near to the subscriber station.In one embodiment, the remote ballistic test circuit is incorporated in a remote testing system for a group of subscriber lines connected to the central office through a carrier system. In this embodiment, a separate metallic test path is provided to the remote location which can be selectively connected to any one of a plurality of subscriber loops for such testing.
