摘要： The present invention relates to a solid herbicidal composition comprising: i. mesotrione; ii. at least one arene sulfonate condensed with formaldehyde (e.g. sodium alkylnaphthalene sulfonate condensed with formaldehyde); and iii. an acidifying agent. The present invention further provides a method of controlling weeds at a locus comprising diluting the solid herbicidal composition of the present invention and applying to the locus a weed controlling amount of the diluted herbicidal composition.

摘要： In sophisticated semiconductor devices, the defect rate that may typically be associated with the provision of a silicon/germanium material in the active region of P-channel transistors may be significantly decreased by incorporating a carbon species prior to or during the selective epitaxial growth of the silicon/germanium material. In some embodiments, the carbon species may be incorporated during the selective growth process, while in other cases an ion implantation process may be used. In this case, superior strain conditions may also be obtained in N-channel transistors.

摘要： A method is provided for operating an internal combustion piston engine, in which fuel is injected directly into a working chamber in the form of a pre-injection and main injection by means of an injection nozzle with a plurality of injection holes. The pre-injection takes place in a clocked manner. In order to minimize the moistening of the walls of the combustion chamber, a higher fuel pressure prevails in an injection device during the main injection than during the pre-injection. Furthermore, optimum homogenization of the pre-injected quantity of fuel is obtained by restricting the range of the injected fuel jets while simultaneously maximizing the atomization of the fuel particles and reinforcing the disintegration of the fuel jets during the clocked pre-injection.

摘要： In manufacturing a recessed gate transistor, a channel implantation and a source/drain implantation are performed by means of a single implantation mask prior to the formation of a gate opening. Thereafter, the gate opening is formed to a depth that extends substantially to the channel implant so that raised drain and source regions are created which are substantially even with the gate electrode formed in the gate opening. Consequently, expensive and complex epitaxial growth steps can be avoided.
