    • An electrical connector assembly includes two electrical connectors locking to each other to form electrical connection. One of the electrical connectors provides a holding element having a press section and at least a latch protrusion with a contact baffle wall. The other is a mating electrical connector provides an locking groove to buckle with the latch protrusion and a lateral side of the locking groove and the contact baffle wall. Hence, the contact baffle wall will contact one lateral side of the locking groove steadily without the moment of force from the flexibility of the slit rib for increasing endurance of the operations of inserting and detaching with the lock of a mating electrical connector.

    • A set of contact pins in an electric connector are electrically coupled to another set of contact pins in an opposite connector and joined to a set of core wires in a cable. Each of the contact pins includes a coupling end and a wire connecting end. The coupling is corresponding to the opposite connector and provided with a contact part and the wire connecting end is corresponding to the core wires and provided with a wire connecting part. The wire connecting part is arranged an elastic holding device to retain one of the core wires instead of by way of soldering.

    • An auxiliary shield for an electric connector is disposed between a shield device on a casing of an electronic apparatus and the electric connector. The shield device has a plurality of first pierced openings and fixing holes and the first pierced openings correspond to contacts of the electronic apparatus. The shield device has a bended joint part located adjacent to the casing of the electronic apparatus. The auxiliary shield has a plurality of second pierced openings corresponding to the first pierced openings on the shield device and at least a plurality of elastic strips extending along a side of each of the pierced openings for pressing against a metal casing of the electric connector. The shield device evenly contacts with the electric connector completely such that an external connecting circuit of the electronic apparatus is hidden.

    • A high frequency electrical connector that includes an insulation body with contact terminals, a lead wire connected to the contact terminals and a casing enclosing the insulation body and the lead wire. The insulation body at a position close to the contact terminals has a fixing end and the casing is composed of a first lid and a second lid with each of the first and the second lids having an extension part.     • The electrical connector with mounting fixture of the present invention comprises a mounting fixture and a two-piece cable mounting cover. The mounting fixture is mounted to the host computer's internal frame (not shown). This internal frame is a standard frame that is included with the computer for mounting fixed hard disk drives, cd-rom drives, and floppy disk drives. The two-piece cable mounting cover encases the data cable connector and the power cable connector and is mounted to the mounting fixture. The other end of the data cable is connected to the host computer's motherboard. Utilizing the electrical connector with mounting fixture of the present invention, a removable mass storage device can be conveniently removed from or installed into a host computer. Additionally, the present invention significantly reduces the number of connectors, adapters, and connections. Therefore, the problems associated with the conventional removable hard disk drive assembly can be avoided and a more convenient, simple, durable, and inexpensive assembly is provided.
