The jaw has a first member and a second member both depending from a support member and spaced from one another by a distance. The distance is larger than a thickness of the flexible busbar. The relief is defined on first member and/or second member. The jaw is deformably compressible onto the flexible busbar upon application of a deformation force on the first and second members so that the flexible busbar conforms to the at least one relief to form an electrical and mechanical connection.

The substrate has a first surface, an opposing second surface and at least two electrically conducting traces having respective conductive pads. The pair of wires are each electrically preassembled to one of the electrically conducting traces through the respective conductive pads with solder joints. The pair of electrically conducting rivets each extend through the substrate from the first surface to the second surface and through one of the electrically conducting traces and have prongs that protrude from the second surface of the substrate.

A potting layer is provided over the terminal connector. The potting layer separates the terminal connector from an electrically conductive portion of a vehicle adjacent thereto.
