The method of encoding a multi-view image includes determining whether each of pictures included in multi-view image sequences is a reference picture referred to by other pictures included in the multi-view image sequences for inter-view prediction, and encoding the pictures using at least one of inter-view prediction and temporal prediction based on the determination result, thereby efficiently encoding and decoding the multi-view image at high speed.

摘要： A display device includes gate lines, data lines, first wires and second wires extending in the directions of the gate lines and data lines, and pixels having a first subpixel and a second subpixel each. The first subpixel has a first subpixel electrode and a first switching element, and the second subpixel has a second subpixel electrode and second and third switching elements. The control terminals of the three switching elements are connected to the same gate line, and the input terminals of the first and second switching elements are connected to the same data line. The first and second switching elements have output terminals connected to the first and second subpixel electrodes, respectively. The second switching element's output terminal connects to the third switching element, which has an output terminal connected to a second wire. The first wires and the second wires are connected in a pixel.

摘要： A color-processing method includes: selecting a target color gamut to produce an input color signal; calculating a mixture ratio enabling primary colors of the target color gamut to be created by mixing primary colors of a color gamut of the color reproduction apparatus to reproduce the input color signal therewith; producing primary colors reconfigured by mixing the primary colors of the color gamut of the color reproduction apparatus according to the calculated mixture ratio; adjusting an illuminant to match an output signal to a color gamut determined by the reconfigured primary colors; and converting the input color signal to match to the primary colors determined by the reconfigured primary colors. Further a user can arbitrarily set a color gamut in a range that a color reproduction apparatus can reproduce regardless of an input color signal without a quantization errors.

The multi-view image encoding method selects a block corresponding to a current block from another picture having a view-point which is different from a view-point of a current picture to which the current block belongs, on the basis of a global disparity vector representing a global disparity between the current picture and the other picture; and encodes the current block on the basis of block information of a block from among the selected block and blocks adjacent to the selected block. Accordingly, multi-view images can be encoded in consideration of the individual differences between the appearances of objects as well as global disparities between view-points.
