    • A drive system for a permanently excited electric motor having at least one phase winding including a half-bridge arrangement for each phase winding of the motor, an intermediate circuit connecting each half-bridge arrangement to a motor supply voltage source, and a drive arrangement for driving each half-bridge arrangement. In accordance with the driving via the drive arrangement, a voltage or a potential with a predetermined polarity is applied or can be applied for a predetermined duration by each half-bridge arrangement to that phase winding of the electric motor which is assigned to this half-bridge arrangement. An operating state registering arrangement registers an operating state of the drive system and/or of the electric motor, where the drive arrangement is designed such that, when the presence of at least one predetermined operating state in the drive system and/or in the electric motor is registered by the operating state registering arrangement, a command is generated to produce a short circuit between each terminal of the motor.

    • An electromagneto-mechanical converter has winding teeth composed of a material which is suitable for carrying a magnetic flux of a magnetic circuit. The winding teeth each have a winding support element for accommodating a winding, an attachment region for attaching the winding tooth to a yoke of the electromagneto-mechanical energy converter, and a transition element which tapers from the winding supporting element to the attachment region and is immediately adjacent to the yoke of the electromagneto-mechanical converter. The attachment region has a magnetic reluctance which is greater than that of the winding supporting element and the transitional element owing to a change in the grain structure of the material, so that the magnetic flux which enters the transitional element from the winding supporting element is substantially passed from the transitional element into the yoke, and the attachment region is substantially free of magnetic flux.

    • A power electronics device for controlling an electric machine, for example a permanently excited synchronous machine includes a plurality of capacitors and power semiconductors connected to a bus bar. To measure currents through the bus bar, the bus bar includes at least one portion with a shaped section. This at least one portion comprises an essentially U-shaped configuration. A sensor of a current-measuring device is provided in the vicinity of the at least one portion to measure the current flowing therethrough. The sensor is designed to measure an electric and/or magnetic field in the bus bar and is in turn connected to an evaluation device. The sensor and/or the evaluation device are disposed on at least one control printed circuit board of the power electronics device, which is arranged underneath the bus bar.

    • A power electronics device for controlling an electric machine including a power section arranged within a housing which can be closed via a cover element. The power section has a plurality of capacitors and a plurality of power semiconductors which are connected to a power bus bar. In addition, a control device is provided for controlling the power electronics device. The capacitors, power semiconductors, and control device are cooled via a cooling device which is formed as a profile having an essentially U-shaped cross section. The cooling device has two lateral limbs and a base region through which cooling ducts are arranged. A suitable cooling medium flows through the cooling ducts and the ends of the cooling ducts opposite the housing cover are closed by a covering element. The capacitors, the power semiconductors and the control device are connected to the cooling device such that thermal exchange occurs between these components and the cooling device.
