    • A bottle pouring dispenser featuring a dispenser housing having a lower end configured to be removably attached to and cover an open end of a bottle. The bottle pouring dispenser includes a valve providing one-way hydraulic communication from the bottle to a chamber defined within the dispenser housing. The dispenser housing has upper and lower chamber portions. A flavorant is disposed within the upper chamber portion in solid form and it is dissolvable in liquid so as to add flavoring to liquid flowing through the chamber. The flavorant is held spaced above a floor of the chamber, such that a lower portion of the chamber defines a drain volume beneath the flavorant for receiving liquid draining from about the flavorant. The bottle pouring dispenser further includes a pour spout extending from an upper end of the dispenser housing, for dispensing the flavored liquid from the chamber.

    • A keg tapping system made up of an upper coupler and a lower coupler having, respectively, upper and lower housings and slidable upper and lower coupler conduits therein. The upper and lower coupler conduits each have top and bottom ends. The upper coupler includes a handle moveable between up and down positions. The handle is in operational contact with the upper conduit. The bottom of the upper coupler conduit is in operational contact with the top of the lower coupler conduit. Moving the handle between up and down positions causes up and down movement of the upper coupler conduit and the lower coupler conduit. In one non-limiting embodiment the upper coupler can be releasably attached to a range of lower coupler types.

    • A tensioning system for a cleaning blade for a conveying belt. The tensioning system has a frame, a blade support, and a ratchet system. The blade support is movable around a first axis in a first direction to increase cleaning blade pressure and a second direction oppositely to the first direction to decrease cleaning blade pressure. Through the ratchet system, a position of the blade support can be maintained against pivoting in the second direction. The ratchet system has (a) a first ratchet assembly on one of the frame and blade support with at least one ratchet surface facing in a first circumferential direction relative to the first axis and (b) a second ratchet assembly on the other of the frame and blade support and having a first plurality of ratchet surfaces facing in a second circumferential direction oppositely to the first circumferential direction. At least a part of at least one of the first and second ratchet assemblies is deformable to allow the blade support to pivot in the first direction to cause the one ratchet surface to (a) move circumferentially up to and sequentially past each of the ratchet surfaces in the first plurality of ratchet surfaces as an incident of the blade support moving in the first direction around the first axis and (b) abut one of the ratchet surfaces in the first plurality of ratchet surfaces to block movement of the blade support in the second direction around the first axis.

    • A solid state power control includes a sensor to detect when the power control is not connected to a power source. Disconnecting the power source turns off an output stage in the power control. If the power control receives a command to turn on its output stage while the power source is disconnected from the power control or otherwise not present, logic in the power control prevents the command from reaching the output stage. When the power source is connected or reconnected to the power control, the output stage remains off until the logic detects a zero crossing in the power source, thereby preventing high inrush currents into the power control. Suppressing high inrush currents caused by power source reconnection ensures that any current trip circuitry in the power control will be activated only by short circuit conditions and not by abnormal inrush currents.
