摘要： A bone fusion device provides stability to bones during a bone fusion period. The bones include, for example, the vertebrae of a spinal column. The bone fusion device comprises one or more extendable tabs attached to the bone fusion device by associated rotating means. The bone fusion device is preferably inserted by using an arthroscopic surgical procedure. During arthroscopic insertion of the device, the tabs are pre-configured for compactness. In this compact configuration, the tabs are preferably deposed along and/or within an exterior surface of the bone fusion device. After the bone fusion device has been positioned between the bones, one or more tab(s) are extended. In the preferred embodiment, the position of each tab is related to a positioning element and an extending block. Typically, the tabs advantageously position and brace the bone fusion device in the confined space between the bones until the bones have fused.

The frame further comprises a plurality of hinges configured to allow the frame to fold. Further, the multi-terrain wheelchair comprises a pair of front driving wheels that are rotatably mounted on the front portion of the foldable frame and a single rear castor wheel that is rotatably mounted on the rear portion of the foldable frame. Preferably, when the frame is folded, the driving wheels and the castor wheel are aligned in substantially the same plane. In alternative embodiments, the pair of driving wheels each comprise a driving wheel hub, a driving wheel connector, or driver wheel housings coupled to the frame and configured to allow the pair of the driver wheels to spin. In certain implementations, a fluid dispensing nozzle assembly comprises a nozzle body with a built-in dispenser tube, a reagent inlet tube, and a fitting that securely connects the inlet tube to the nozzle body. The nozzle body with the built-in dispenser tube and the reagent inlet tube are securely attached to one another by various coupling elements or adhesive material to ensure that liquid is transmitted through the inlet tube without leaking into the nozzle body and other undesired areas.

The multiple banks of valves provide an additional number of reagent choices while operating in a serial mode and faster reagent distribution while operating in a parallel mode. The plurality of vials are stored in the cartridge and are divided among individual banks wherein each bank of vials has a corresponding drain. There is at least one waste tube system for expelling the reagent solution from vials within a particular bank of vials when the waste tube system is coupled to the corresponding drain. The cartridge holding the plurality of vials rotates relative to the stationary banks of valves and the waste tube system. The controller rotates the cartridge and operates the banks of valves and the waste tube system in response to the required sequence of dispensing various reagent solutions and flushing appropriate vials in order to form the desired polymer chain within each vial.
