摘要： A control apparatus for maintaining constant the temperature and pressure of the vapor phase in a very low-temperature controlled liquefied gas container includes a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, two electromagnetic valves, and a refrigerator. When operation of the refrigerator disturbs measurement at low temperature, the refrigerator is stopped. Gas vaporizes from a liquid phase, and gas is discharged from the container. In this manner, the temperature and pressure of the liquefied gas in the container can be maintained constant. After measurement, the liquid level in the container will be lowered by evaporation, so that the liquefied gas is supplied to the container. In this manner, the liquid level in the container can be maintained constant.

摘要： In the production of a reaction mixture which forms plastic material, in particular foamed plastic material, from at least two flowable reaction components, the inlet members or other switch-over members which must be switched over in a precise fashion, are controlled by a sliding valve comprising a slide which is assigned a restoring spring which operates in opposition to a moving electromagnet, and a holding electromagnet. First, the holding electromagnet is fully activated whereupon the moving electromagnet is activated. Following the build-up of force of the moving electromagnet, the holding electromagnet is switched off so that the inlet member or other switch-over member opens abruptly.

摘要： A fluid pressure regulator provides features which enable an extended regulator life in high pressure service. Dual flexible diaphragms provide chemical resistance in contact with the working fluid and abrasion and fatigue resistance in contact with a backup plate and piston assembly. The backup plate has a bore which is sufficiently long and close fitting with the piston so that axial alignment is assured and there is minimal tendency for the piston to become cocked within the bore. Provision is also made for preventing fretting corrosion between the piston and the backup plate by coating at least one of the surfaces, if necessary, to assure that dissimilar metals only are in contact in that couple. Seals between the regulator housing body and the diaphragm and between the valve stem and diaphragm may be provided by resilient seal rings or by annular protrusions integrally formed on one or both of the diaphragms.
