摘要： A batch of semiconductor wafers are exposed after an alignment in a wafer stepper or scanner and each of their alignment parameters are determined. Using, e.g., a linear formula with tool specific coefficients, the overlay accuracy can be calculated from these alignment parameters in advance with a high degree of accuracy as if a measurement with an overlay inspection tool had been performed. The exposure tool-offset can be adjusted on a wafer-to-wafer basis to correct for the derived overlay inaccuracy. Moreover, the alignment parameters for a specific wafer can be used to change the tool-offset for the same wafer prior to exposure. The required inspection tool capacity is advantageously reduced, the wafer rework decreases, and time is saved to perform the exposure step.

摘要： A semiconductor read only memory (ROM) serves to store digitized audio signals in a redundancy free form. The output of the memory is coupled to the input of a data expander in the playback circuit. The memory may also store an algorithm which serves to control operation of the data expander before the signals are further processed via a digital-to-analog converter and where the output of the digital/analog converter is then coupled to the input of an analog amplifier and then to a loud speaker arrangement. In this manner, digitized audio signals can be operated on by either error correcting modules or data expansion modules, both of which modules may include microprocessors where the algorithms for control of the microprocessors are also stored within the read only memory. In this manner, all mechanical movements between the storage medium and the pick up devices, which are typical of the prior art, is eliminated as the main storage medium consists of a read only memory or a plurality of such devices.

摘要： An occupant detection system and method that uses an isolation assembly to isolate electrically a power supply providing power to a heater element for heating a vehicle seat from a sensing circuit that uses the heater element as an electrode for electric field or capacitance type occupant detection. The isolation assembly includes a common mode choke that by itself provides sufficient isolation when the sensing circuit excitation signal frequency is high enough, and provides switches that infrequently interrupt electrical power to the heater element so a humidity level can be determined using a relatively low excitation signal frequency. Knowing the humidity level is desirable to adjust a threshold use to determine if the sensing circuit indicates that the seat is empty, or is occupied.
