The device includes a frusto-conically shaped housing with a rotation prevention mechanism fastened therein. A plurality of spaced nubs function to prevent removal of the locking device from the threaded shaft of the electronics unit without a tool having the proper combination of mating openings to receive the nubs.

摘要： An adjustable lock striker bolt assembly includes an anchor plate which is manually snap assembled to a retention bracket by an operator without tools and with limited access to the inside of the lock pillar. The retention bracket includes a pair of spaced laterally extending retention flanges, each including a retention slot. The anchor plate includes a thickened central body portion and a pair of legs extending oppositely therefrom. To assemble the anchor plate to the bracket, one leg of the anchor plate is inserted through the slot of one flange until the central body portion contains the one flange. This locates the edge portion of the other leg in engagement with the other flange. Manual pressure of the anchor plate snaps the edge portion of the other leg into the slot of the other flange.

The holes are constructed so that the axes of the holes adjacent to each other are in one plane and are parallel to fasten the plural screw means onto the metal plate regularly and firmly at a time. The fastened assembly is detached from the receiving means by tapping and pushing up the heads of the screw bodies with a knockout means.An apparatus for fastening the screw means onto the metal plate and detaching the fastened assembly therefrom comprises a vertically movable pressing means for applying force to the stepped necks, a receiving means positioned under the pressing means for fastening together the both components and a knockout means positioned under the receiving means for detaching the fastened assembly from the receiving means.

摘要： A high strength positive locking fastener for securing structural panels together is disclosed. The fastener includes a stud receptacle and a stud assembly. The stud receptacle is mounted on an inner panel spatially fixed with respect to an outer panel and includes an interiorly threaded basket nut with assembled washer fixedly mounted thereon and a cage which is fastened to the inner panel and which movably receives the basket nut and washer assembly. The stud assembly passes through substantially coaxial openings in the panels and then into the basket nut assembly. The stud assembly includes a threaded stud having a bore therethrough containing a spring loaded plunger with a pair of locking balls resting thereon. To engage the fastener and secure the panels together a tool is used to depress the plunger forcing the balls against a reduced plunger diameter and allowing the stud to pass through the panel openings and into the basket nut. The stud is then threaded into the basket nut and, when the tool is removed, the plunger returns to its fully exended position with the balls resting on a larger plunger diameter thereby preventing the stud assembly from passing through the panel openings. To remove the fastener and separate the panels, the tool is used to depress the plunger allowing the balls to rest against a reduced plunger diameter and the stud is unscrewed from the basket nut.

摘要： A blind fastener has an elongated body of polygonal crosssection with a plurality of longitudinally extending laterally projecting ribs formed at the corners of its sides. These ribs bite into the wall of a bore when the fastener is inserted therein. The short leg of each of a plurality of J-shaped arms is connected to the end of the fastener opposite its head and the long leg of each arm is formed with its own head so that on insertion of the fastener into the bore the short legs are bent out and the long legs lie against the blind side of a panel. The ribs are longitudinally ridged and the fastener is made of a deformable synthetic-resin material so that a screw inserted into the tubular body can expand it.
