摘要： An improvement in an on-site foam generating apparatus which includes storage tanks for supplying the foam-forming reactants, a mixing chamber, and means for conveying the reactants through the mixing chamber. The improvement comprises means for automatically cleaning and flushing the mixing chamber. When the foam gun head containing the mixing chamber is at rest and inverted in an opening on the top of a solvent storage tank, solvent is continuously recycled through the mixing chamber. When the foam gun head is removed from the tank, a proximity switch senses the absence of metal and actuates an electrical circuit to operate a solenoid valve to divert the solvent from the mix chamber to a by-pass back to the tank. Additionally, a time delay relay is actuated which operates a solenoid valve for a predetermined period to supply purging gas to and through the mixing chamber upon removal of the foam gun head from the tank.

摘要： An easily assembled blender with an internal frame holding a cupholder elevator assembly, a mix motor assembly, a food preparation chamber, a water heater assembly and a steamer assembly. The water heater and steamer assemblies are preferably on modular trays that slide into the internal frame. The water heater preferably also serves as a hot water reservoir and, to avoid overheating, has its heating coil located near its bottom. To resist scale deposits, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tubing is preferably used to transport steam from the steamer to the food preparation chamber. To expedite manufacture, a spring-biased idler assembly with a drive belt for the cupholder elevator assembly preferably snaps into a lower receiving port on the internal frame. Crisscrossing infrared light beams are preferably placed at the entrance of the food preparation chamber to detect whether the cup entering the chamber is the correct size and detect whether any foreign object is below the food preparation chamber.

The mixing unit (100) includes a mixing chamber (102) for holding one or more fluids and a driving assembly (104) operatively engaged to the mixing chamber (102). The driving assembly (104) is configured to oscillate the mixing chamber (102) for mixing the one or more fluids. The mixing chamber (102) of the mixing unit (100) enables better mixing of fluids in a convenient manner. Further less amount of cleaning fluids may be only required for cleaning the mixing chamber (102) after the mixing process. The mixing unit (100) can be used for mixing amino acids with different fluids however this unit can be used for mixing other fluids as well.
