    • A porous tantalum rod is provided, which is a medical implantation used for treating collapsed articular surface of the femoral head or necrosis of the femoral head in phase I or phase II. The implantation includes a fastening structure formed on one end of the porous tantalum rod used for connecting with the osseous tissues and a through hole formed on the center of the porous tantalum rod. The porous tantalum rod is made of the porous tantalum material, which is produced by foam impregnation and had a foam structure with three-dimensional interconnecting pores, wherein the foam structure has a foam skeleton, tantalum particles located on the foam skeleton, and multiple sintering neck structures formed between the tantalum particles.

    • The invention provides an implantable medical device for treatment of a proximal humerus fracture, comprising a base element to be anchored in the medullar cavity of the humeral shaft, a support element to be fixed with respect to the base element, wherein the support element is configured to support one or more bone fragments, wherein the medical device comprises positioning members configured to position the support element with respect to the base element in a range of rotational positions and axial positions, and wherein the medical device comprises a fixation device to fixate the support element, within the range of rotational positions and axial positions, in a desired rotational and axial position with respect to the base element. In an embodiment, the medical device is a non-occluding medical device, wherein after implantation the medullar cavity is not occluded by the medical device due to the open and non canal filling structure of the device preserving blood flow to the reattached bone fragments.

    • A rear-retaining structure for dynamic hip screw (DHS) includes a retaining block and a positioning element. The dynamic hip screw comprises a lag screw, a sideplate, a sleeve with a higher orifice and a lower orifice, and a compression screw. The retaining block of the rear-retaining structure is attached to the sideplate of the dynamic hip screw by the positioning element. A stopper portion of the retaining block is located opposite to the lower orifice of the sleeve. The height of the highest point of the stopper portion in the lower orifice is in inverse proportion to the distance that the lag screw and the compression screw are allowed to slip back in the sleeve from an implant position to the lower orifice; namely, the higher the height of the highest point of the stopper portion is in the lower orifice, the smaller the distance for the slip back.
