摘要： The present disclosure provides collapsible medical devices that are formed from a braided tubular member configured to allow the braided tubular member to be terminated into one or more marker bands while maintaining an open lumen from a proximal end to a distal end. The collapsible medical device including the braided tubular member can be easily pulled down into a delivery sheath or other delivery device so that it is suitable for use with a number of delivery devices. The marker bands, which provide one or more attachment points for a medical device/delivery system, are positioned at one or more locations on the braid such that the braid is fixed and cannot unravel, thus preventing entanglement between individual braid wires and malformation of the device.

摘要： There is described a bioresorbable metal alloy which is particularly suitable for the formation of bioresorbable medical devices, for example stents. The metal alloy essentially comprises 3.2 to 4.8% by weight lithium, 0.5 to 2.0% by weight yttrium; and the balance being magnesium, in addition to any trace elements. The metal alloy can be drawn into a wire which can be shaped into a stent scaffold. The stent can be produced using one or more stent scaffolds together with one or more bioresorbable polymer connectors, for example formed from PLGA.

摘要： A pyloric implant generally includes a stomach portion, a duodenal portion and a pyloric portion extending between the two. A channel extends through the implant to allow food to pass from the stomach, through the pylorus, into the duodenum. The stomach and duodenal portions expand from a delivery configuration to a deployed configuration, upon release from a delivery device, in order to anchor the implant within the stomach, pylorus and duodenum. The pyloric implant slows the passage of food out of the stomach, through the pylorus, thus promoting weight loss.

摘要： An endoprosthesis has an expanded state and a contracted state, the endoprosthesis includes a stent having an inner surface defining a lumen, having an outer surface, and defining a plurality of apertures through the outer surface, wherein the apertures are arranged in a micropattern; and a coating (e.g., polymeric coating) attached to the outer surface of the stent. The coating includes a base and a tissue engagement portion including a second surface facing outwardly from the stent, the tissue engagement portion including a structure that defines a plurality of holes extending inwardly from the second surface toward the base. The holes are arranged in a micropattern. When the endoprosthesis is expanded to the expanded state in a lumen defined by a vessel wall, the structure applies a force that may reduce stent migration by creating an interlock between the vessel wall and the endoprosthesis.

摘要： Example medical stents are disclosed. An example stent includes a tubular framework including an inner surface, an outer surface and a lumen extending therethrough. Additionally, the stent includes a tissue ingrowth scaffold extending along a portion of the outer surface of the tubular framework, wherein the tissue ingrowth scaffold is spaced radially away from the outer surface of the tubular framework to define an expansion cavity therebetween and wherein the tissue ingrowth scaffold permits tissue ingrowth along a portion thereof. The balloon-expandable, bioresorbable, vascular stent elements are configured to be implanted in the blood vessel are described herein. 摘要： A growth stent and valve and methods for making and using the same. The growth stent and valve may be delivered to treat early stage congenital lesions, while expanding to adult vessel diameters. In selected embodiments, the growth stent and valve can comprise a frame and may have a covering on some portion to prevent blood flow through a wall of the frame. The growth stent and valve advantageously can maintain radial strength across an entire range of diameters necessary to treat a narrowed lesion from birth and childhood through adulthood as the vessels grow over the lifetime of a patient.
