摘要： A high-frequency motor comprises a squirrel-cage rotor. The rotor comprises an iron core having a plurality of circular slots, a plurality of conductive rods inserted into the slots, and short-circuit rings disposed at both ends of the conductive rods. The conductive rods are made of copper. A ratio of a product of the number N2 of the conductive rods and a diameter d2 of each conductive rod to an outer diameter D of the rotor is in an optimized range of 1.1 to 1.5, namely, 1.1.ltoreq.N2.multidot.d2/D.ltoreq.1.5. With this optimization, it becomes possible to achieve a maximum rotational speed of more than 120,000 min.sup.-1 and obtain an excellent motor efficiency.

摘要： In a apparatus made of silica such as a heating furnace, a wafer basket, stick or the like used for semiconductor device fabrication, a first silica layer on the side faced to a semiconductor wafer contains a large amount of the OH group, and a second silica layer on the opposed side contains a small amount of the OH group. With this structure, it is possible to reduce the amount of impurities released through the first silica layer, and to suppress the deformation of the apparatus by the second silica layer. Also, by holding a third silica layer between the first and second silica layers, it is possible to further reduce the amount of impurities released from the first silica layer.

摘要： A filter container includes a sheet having a base with a liquid inlet pipe and a liquid exhaust pipe and a cap that is integrally attached to the base. A disposable unit container is housed inside the sheet, and the disposable unit container contains cartridge filters. The disposable unit container has a liquid inlet port and a liquid outlet port at a bottom portion thereof, these ports being provided with shut-off valves on the inside of the disposable unit container. The shut-off valves are engagable by the inlet and exhaust pipes on the base of the sheet so that the valves are open by engaging the disposable unit container with the base with the sheet, and are closed by removing the unit container from the base. The bottom end cap supports the lower ends of the cartridge filters above the inlet and outlet ports, and defines the inlet and outlet liquid flow paths. Upper end caps are also provided for sealing the upper ends of the cartridge filters.

摘要： A process for the production of semiconductor devices which comprises washing a cleaned semiconductor substrate with or without one or more component parts formed thereon, with pure water, freezing the pure water containing the washed substrate, preserving and/or transporting the ice-covered substrate, and thawing and drying the substrate before a subsequent process. The production process of the present invention can completely remove contamination on a surface of the semiconductor substrate in a wafer process and can stop the formation of a natural oxide coating on a surface of the substrate: Thus shortening and simplifying the wafer process, increasing the quality and yield of the semiconductor devices, and enabling the cleaned substrate to be preserved for a long period and transported to distant areas or far countries.

摘要： Copying apparatus is constituted by a photosensitive member having a photochromic characteristic when changes light transmitibility when projected with light reflected by a manuscript. A light source is provided for projecting a photo-image formed on the photosensitive member onto a photosensitive recording sheet through the photosensitive member. In a modified embodiment, the copying apparatus has a construction substantially the same as the conventional electrophotographic copying machine except that a photosensitive drum is made of transparent material and covered by a thin transparent photoconductor. Consequently a toner image corresponding to the photo-image of a manuscript is formed on the photosensitive drum. A light source is provided for projecting the toner image on a photosensitive recording sheet.
