    • A centrifugal compressor of the type in which disassembly and assembly of the compressor is effected by taking out and inserting internal component parts including end walls for closing ends of a cylindrical rotor chamber wall from and into a cylindrical rotor chamber in the axial direction thereof, including intake chamber side communication holes communicating with an intake chamber formed within the cylindrical rotor chamber and a propelling force balance chamber side communication hole communicating with a propelling force balance chamber formed within the cylindrical rotor chamber. The intake chamber side communication holes are formed in the internal component part and in the cylindrical rotor chamber wall, respectively. The propelling force balance chamber side communication holes are respectively provided in an inner axial end surface of the cylindrical rotor chamber wall and an end wall removably fitted in the cylindrical rotor chamber wall with a portion of the end wall abutting the inner axial end surface of the cylindrical rotor chamber wall. The intake chamber side communication hole and the propelling force balance chamber communication hole provided in the cylindrical rotor chamber wall are communicated with each other through a balance pipe mounted on an outer surface of the cylindrical rotor chamber wall.

    • A gas turbine rotor, in which a plurality of discs having teeth of a bevel gear are juxtaposed to engage the teeth and are integrally fastened by a bolt extending through the discs, so that the discs may be cooled by feeding cooling air to the air passages of the individual discs sequentially at the running time, is provided whereby the cooling air is prevented from leaking by means having no wear. Radially outward of an air passage through hole of the faces of the adjoining discs, there are provided arms which are made lower than the dedendums of the teeth and protruded in an annular shape to confront each other; one of the arms has a tip made to have an elastically deformable thickness and a sectional shape bent inward or outward, whereas there is welded to the other arm an extension which has a tip made to have an elastically deformable thickness and a sectional shape bent inward or outward; and the end face of the tip of the one arm and the end face of the tip of the extension of the other arm are held in abutment against each other so that the two end faces may be forced, when the discs are integrated, into contact with each other to prevent leakage of cooling air.

    • A vibration reducer for a diaphragm coupling is capable of suppressing axial vibrations as well as torsional vibrations. A diaphragm pack 3 is mounted between a diaphragm mount flange 2 provided on an intermediate shaft 1 serving as a drive shaft and a shaft flange 4 of another shaft serving as a driven shaft. An elastic arm 5 extends through the diaphragm pack 3 and is mounted to the diaphragm mount flange 2. The elastic arm 5 is a cylindrical member, whose circumferential portion is severed by slits formed by wire-cutting. Free ends 5a of the elastic arm 5 are expanded in the radial directions by centrifugal forces caused by rotation of a shafts and come into pressure-contact with the liner member 8 formed integrally within a cylindrical portion 7 of the shaft flange 4. A part of a torque is thereby transmitted via the pressure-contact portion, and rigidity in the axial direction of the elastic arm 5 is added to that of the diaphragm pack 3 to suppress vibrations. An alternative construction has a large pressure-contact force caused by centrifugal forces realized by making use of centrifugal weights 22, a centrifugal weight holder 23, and an elongated bolt 24.

    • An inner shroud portion and an outer shroud portion dividedly formed per stationary blade are formed integrally with each stationary blade.
