    • A process for the preparation of poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide fibers according to the wet spinning method comprising passing an optically anisotropic solution of a poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide type polymer through a non-coagulating fluid layer and guiding the solution to a coagulating bath, characterized in that (a) filaments are taken out together with a stream of a coagulating solution from fine tube or fine hole arranged in the lower portion of the coagulating bath and the filaments are travelled through a second fine tube or fine hole arranged below said fine tube or fine hole through a space, and (b) in the fine tube or fine hole arranged in the lower portion of the coagulating bath, the stream of the coagulating solution flowing out together with the filaments is accelerated and in the second fine tube or fine hole, the speed of the stream of coagulating solution accompanying the filaments is decreased.

    • A vehicle electronic portable key system including a master key and sub-key. A retainer is arranged in the vehicle to retain the sub-key. A control unit determines whether the master key or sub-key is located in a vehicle interior or exterior wireless communicatable area. When the key is located in one of the wireless communicatable areas, the control unit permits various operations of the vehicle in accordance with the communicable area in which the key is located. The control unit determines that the sub-key is in a lent state if the sub-key is removed from the retainer when the master key is located in the interior wireless communicatable area. In a state in which the sub-key is located in one of the wireless communicatable areas after removal from the retainer, the control unit limits the operations of the vehicle unless the sub-key is determined as being in the lent state.

    • A sheet conveying device for conveying a sheet includes a displacement-amount detector configured to detect an amount of displacement of a conveyed sheet from a conveyance reference in a width direction being substantially perpendicular to a sheet conveying direction and a plurality of sheet conveying roller portions configured to be shiftable in a direction substantially perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction while pinching the sheet having the amount of displacement detected by the displacement-amount detector. After the sheet reaches the sheet conveying roller portions, the sheet conveying roller portions are shifted while pinching the sheet so as to reduce the amount of displacement.
