    • The present invention relates to coating compositions containinga) aldimines andb) polyisocyanates whichi) contain 2 to 35% by weight of allophanate groups, based on the weight of the polyisocyanates,ii) have a viscosity of less than 3000 mpa.s at 25.degree. C. when measured at a solids content of 100%,iii) are based on the reaction products of aliphatic polyisocyanates with1) 10 to 90 mole percent of monohydroxy compounds and2) 10 to 90 mole percent of polyhydric alcohols, wherein the mole percentages of 1) and 2) add up to 100, and the percentages are based on the total moles of monohydroxy compounds 1) and polyhydric alcohols 2) andiv) contain less than 10 mole percent of urethane groups, based on the total moles of urethane groups obtained from monohydroxy compounds 1) and polyhydric alcohols 2).The present invention also relates to these polyisocyanates containing allophanate groups and to polyisocyanate mixtures containing these polyisocyanates and polyisocyanate adducts containing isocyanurate, uretdione, biuret and/or urethane groups.

    • The present invention relates to polyisocyanate adducts containing allophanate groups, fluorine and optionally isocyanurate groups that are prepared by reacting compounds a) which i) are substantially free of hydroxyl groups and isocyanate groups, ii) have an average of at least two urethane groups per molecule and iii) contain 0 to 50% by weight of fluorine, based on the weight of the polyisocyanate adducts, with an excess quantity, based on the equivalents of urethane groups, of polyisocyanates b), which optionally contain fluorine, to form polyisocyanate adducts and optionally removing at least a portion of the unreacted excess polyisocyanates b), provided that compounds a) and polyisocyanates b) contain a total of at least 0.001% by weight, of fluorine, based on the weight of the polyisocyanate adducts. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing these polyisocyanates adducts, to blends of the polyisocyanate adducts with other polyisocyanates that do not contain fluorine and to the use of the polyisocyanate adducts or polyisocyanate blends, optionally in blocked form, in one- or two-component coating compositions.

    • This invention relates to rigid polyurethanes prepared by reaction, at an isocyanate index of 95 to 110, of(a) an allophanate-modified aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic polyisocyanurate;(b) 20 to 100% by weight, relative to the total of components (b) and (c), of(i) one or more polyether and/or polyester polyols containing three or more isocyanate-reactive hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of 200 to 6000, and(ii) 0 to 30% by weight, relative to component (b)(i), of one or more isocyanate-reactive compounds other than a polyether or polyester of component (b)(i) and containing two or more isocyanate-reactive hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of about 400 to about 10,000,(c) 0 to 30% by weight, relative to the total of components (b) and (c), of a chain extender and/or crosslinker other than a polyether or polyester and having a molecular weight of from 32 to 399, wherein the amounts of components (b) and (c) total 100% by weight.
