    • Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for quantifying visibility into a search engine and into search results for a specific query into a search engine. A system configured to practice the method obtains a first set of search results from a search engine, using a name of an entity and at least one additional search term relating to attributes of the entity, and obtains a second set of search results, from the search engine, using the name without the at least one additional search term. The system determines what search results in the first set of search results are in the second set of search results. Then the system can generate an indicator that relates information about how many results from the first set of search results were in the second set of search results to a total number of results in the first set of search results.

    • Techniques for load balancing network traffic over virtual point-to-point data links at a data-link layer include determining a particular group of virtual point-to-point data links that reach a particular local area network of one or more network nodes. A particular data-link address for a particular node of the particular local area network is associated with each virtual point-to-point data link of the particular group. When a data packet is received that includes data that indicates the particular data-link address as a destination; one virtual point-to-point data link of the group is determined to balance traffic among the group. The data packet is sent only over the one virtual point-to-point data link. These techniques enable virtual point-to-point data links through two or more intermediate network nodes, such as a pair of provider edge nodes, to be bundled for load balancing purposes.

    • A dock leveler support frame includes an upper frame member and a substantially vertical frame member connected thereto. The substantially vertical frame member includes both a structural member and a height-adjusting leg assembly. The leg assembly is adjustable via a drive member proximate the upper frame member. Rotating the drive member raises or lowers the upper frame member by altering the distance between the upper frame member and a foot at the lower end of the leg assembly. Ramp attachment points are also provided proximate the upper frame member. The support frame is installed by placing it in a pit with the upper frame member adjacent the curb, and adjusting the leg assembly to level the upper frame member to the curb. Once level, the back frame is secured to the dock, and the drive member may be secured to the upper frame member to prevent counter-rotation.

    • A hydraulic lift bridge/leveler that is raised by an hydraulic cylinder and lowered primarily by gravity. A toggle mechanism is used to lock the bridge in a near vertical position. An auxiliary cylinder moves a lock-out arm assembly to release the toggle mechanism and power the bridge downward to a point where the weight moment through the pivot point is significantly large that the bridge will lower itself by gravity. The main cylinder employs a cushion mechanism that decelerates the bridge by slowly increasing hydraulic pressure in the cylinder. This allows the bridge to be raised at an initially high rate of speed and then slowed down near the end of travel at a near vertical position.

    • The assembly for stacking articles comprises a conveyor for moving articles along a conveying path having a lifting work station, a storing work station and a stacking work station. The conveyor has an incoming end and a discharging end with a lifting mechanism for lifting an article from the conveyor at the lifting work station. A storage assembly is located along the path for storing the lifted article at a location above the path. A removing mechanism then removes the stored article and places it onto another article moving along the path at the stacking work station. The method includes lifting a package at the lifting work station and carrying it to the storage work station. Another package is then conveyed along the path beneath the first package disposed at the storage work station. The stored package is then removed from the storage work station onto the package passed therebeneath thereby stacking the stored package onto the lower package located at the stacking work station. The stacked articles are then discharged from the assembly.
