    • A lamp socket assembly has a plastic housing and a transversal flange surrounding the same. Spaced resilient tabs are arranged on the flange for snapping into a cut-out of a reflector. Additional spaced tabs having shoulders at the extended ends thereof are arranged on the flange with spacers provided therebetween. The height of the additional tabs exceeds that of the spacers. A conductive bulb carrier for engaging the base of a bulb from one end of the housing is held between the shoulders and the ends of the spacers. A conductive resiliently mounted plug engages a center electrode of a bulb and urges the bulb into engagement with the conductive bulb carrier.

    • A motion picture camera wherein the shutter is adjustable by an electric motor for the making of normal exposures at a relatively high frequency and for the making of long or ''''time'''' exposures at a selected lower frequency. The shutter is at a standstill during the making of each long exposure and is rotated only between successive long exposures to overlie the light-admitting opening during film transport. The adjustment for the making of long exposures takes place in automatic reponse to rotation of a selector for the desired number of long exposures. Upon completion of the last long exposure, the shutter is automatically reset for the making of normal exposures and the motor is arrested.

    • An apparatus for heating and cooling the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle quickly brings the temperature of the compartment to the desired level and the temperature is thereafter maintained at a constant level without the use of blowers. The apparatus includes first and second heat exchangers which are separately or in combination selectively connected for establishing a heat-exchanging relationship between a third heat exchanger and the first and second heat exchangers. The third heat exchanger has a relatively large surface area and is located within the vehicle passenger compartment. The first and second heat exchanger rapidly bring the temperature of the passenger compartment to the desired level with the assistance of blowers, adjacent to these two heat exchangers, which blow the conditioned air into the passenger compartment. After the desired temperature has been reached, the fans are turned off and the temperature in the compartment is maintained by radiation by the third heatexchanger and at least one of the other two heat exchangers.
