    • A high pressure steamer for continuous wet-heat treatment of a cloth has an inlet and an outlet for taking a cloth continuously in and out of the steamer body. The cloth inlet has an inlet side seal mechanism provided with a liquid seal tank and the cloth outlet has an outlet side seal mechanism provided with a slow cooling tank. A plurality of liquid application tanks and prewashing tanks are provided in the steamer for boiling the cloth passing through the steamer intermittently and repeatedly. A filter is provided for cleansing waste water exhausted from the slow cooling tank. A heat exchanger is provided for heating cleansed water by the use of high temperature waste liquor from the prewashing tank, and conduits supply the heated water to the liquid application tanks and prewashing tanks.

    • An apparatus using wet heat treatment for fixing dyes printed on a cloth including a plurality of horizontal cloth hanging rolls disposed in generally parallel relation and spaced apart at equal and narrow intervals in the upper part of a high pressure steamer for transporting the cloth continuously through the high pressure steamer by hanging the cloth on the rolls and forming loops in the gaps between them. A horizontally arranged cloth supporting device is located below and in parallel relation with the cloth hanging rolls at a location immediately above the water level of a body of hot water provided in the bottom of the steamer. The cloth supporting device supports and transports the lower ends of the loops of cloth. The cloth supporting device can be formed by a plurality of cloth supporting rolls closely spaced apart or an endless net conveyer.

    • A seal device having a pair of rubber seal rolls arranged in pressed contact with each other at a cloth material passing port of a drum body of a high pressure steamer adapted for hygro-thermic treatment of textile products such as a cloth material. Seal plates which are formed with a flexible and elastic metal or synthetic resin sheet and upper or lower sides of which are secured to edge portions of the cloth material passing port disposed in parallel with the pair of seal rubber rolls while the other sides are in pressed contact with the seal rubber rolls. An air chamber formed in a triangular cross-sectional shape connects a pressed contact point between the rubber seal rolls respectively to contact points between the seal plates and the seal rubber rolls, and air pressure is supplied to the air chamber through an air supply passage. A pair of correcting air jet pipes are spaced across the cloth material and arranged to blow air to both sides of the cloth material to correct its posture for preventing it from being wound on the surface of the seal rubber rolls after it has passed these rolls. A passage is provided for expelling to the outside a surplus portion of the air supplied to the air chamber to prevent it from coming into the drum body.

    • A pressure sealing method for sealing the inlet and outlet parts of a high pressure steamer which performs steaming with saturated steam of high temperature and high pressure in processing a textile product for desizing, scouring, bleaching, dyeing or the like. A pair or more than one pair of air pressure chambers made of a gas or fluid exudative material formed in a hollow cylindrical or semicylindrical shape or made of a gas impermeable thin plate are arranged to confront one another at the inlet or outlet part in the high steamer for the entry or exit of the treated product. The pressure of a pressure chamber of the steamer and that of atmospheric parts are shut off by one pair or more than one pair of nipping faces of these air pressure chambers which are pressed against one another. The treated product is allowed to pass through the inlet and outlet parts against the combined pressure developed between the nipping faces.

    • In a pressure seal apparatus for a high pressure steamer, seal rolls form a nip in a roll seal mechanism mounted on the fiber products feed in and take out openings of a high pressure steamer vessel body. The roll seal mechanisms shield the inside of the vessel from external air when fiber products are fed in or taken out and are positioned on the upper planes of a seal block through which a fiber products passage extends. Different members can be combined with the seal rolls in forming the seal mechanism, such as intermediate rolls formed as water permeable hoses are inserted into concave parts provided on opposite sides of the fiber products passage through the seal block. In another embodiment an elastic sealing member is placed in contact with the seal block and the seal rolls. In still another embodiment a shielding valve is provided at one end of the fiber products passage for regulating vessel internal pressure and preventing sudden pressure leakage. As another alternative a vessel internal pressure detector and a pressure affording force regulating mechanism can be used or a fine adjustment mechanism can be employed for up and down movement of the seal block for stabilizing the pressure contacting force of the seal rolls and intermediate rolls to an appropriate value.
