摘要： The present invention discloses a detachable torch for providing heat source for a horizontal quartz tube in the process of wet oxygen. The invention includes a combustion chamber, a heating pipe, an oxygen inlet pipe, a hydrogen inlet pipe, and a coupling device. The hydrogen inlet pipe is coupled to the heating pipe via a coupling device. The removal of the coupling device departs the hydrogen inlet pipe from the heating pipe. Thus, when the mouth of the hydrogen inlet pipe gets brittle due to tempering and needs replacement, we only need to replace the hydrogen inlet pipe instead of the entire torch.

摘要： A burner/injector for providing a localized impingement flame or multiple flames for scrap heating and melting through use of a fluid fuel and at least one oxygen rich oxidizing gas. The burner/injector includes a liquid-cooled combustor for generating an impinging flame directed toward a scrap pile and a structure for injecting a controllable amount of a solid carbonaceous fuel and a controllable flow of high velocity oxidizing gas into space that has been previously occupied by the impinging flame. The burner/injector may be equipped to inject a solid slag forming materials and/or slag deoxidizing materials, and/or to inject an additional oxidizing gas for burning a small portion of preheated scrap, post-combustion of CO and iron-carbon melt refining. The burner/injector may be arranged as a simple liquid-cooled combustor permanently mounted through the furnace wall or roof, and may be equipped with single or multiple channels for injection of solid material and high velocity oxidizing gas. Separate injecting lances for high velocity oxidizing gas and/or solid carbonaceous fuel may be mounted on the furnace. Both the lances and the combustors may be equipped with a nozzles for additional injection of the additional oxidizing gas.

The nozzle includes three combustion chambers and an outer flame retention ring for supporting combustion of gaseous fuel over a range of volumetric flow rates. Combustion air is staged to each of the combustion chambers and to the outer flame retention ring for mixing with the fuel to form a combustible fuel-air mixture. Combustion occurs in the first combustion chamber at relatively low flow rates of fuel. Combustion occurs in the second and third combustion chambers and the outer flame retention ring with increasingly higher fuel flow rates. The second combustion chamber is configured with a radially inwardly converging sidewall to provide for a smooth transition of the flame between the second and third combustion chambers.

摘要： There is disclosed an oxygen heater, which uses a portion of supplied oxygen as auxiliary combustion oxygen, a hot oxygen lance and a pulverized solid fuel burner, both having oxygen heaters. The oxygen heater has a combustion chamber for burning fuel with a portion of the supplied oxygen. An oxygen-jetting opening is disposed around the combustion chamber. The oxygen jetted out of the opening forms a gas curtain between an internal wall of a mixing chamber and a flame produced in the combustion chamber, and is heated by the flame. Both the oxygen lance and the burner includes the above-mentioned oxygen heater.

摘要： Different types of apparatus for fabricating a deposit, method of deposition and an article are presented. The apparatus include a thermal spray gun comprising a combustion chamber, combustion zone, an air injection port, a fuel injection port, a nozzle and a liquid injection port. The combustion zone exists between the inlet side and outlet side of the combustion chamber. The method includes, among other things, providing a fuel and an oxidizer inside the combustion zone, initiating combustion inside the combustion zone, and directing products of the combustion toward the outlet side to create a combustion product stream. The method also includes introducing a feedstock mixture comprising a feedstock material and a liquid into the combustion product stream to create an entrained feedstock stream, and expelling the entrained feedstock stream from the spray gun through a nozzle to form a deposit on a surface of the article.
