    • A solids distributor for injection plants includes a collecting chamber having a plurality of lance lines leading away from the chamber. The chamber has a supply connection for a solid to be distributed and is surrounded by a common wall in which a plurality of ports is formed. The lance lines are connected to the ports, and an annular gap is formed in front of the ports and along the common wall. A pressure vessel is arranged geodetically above the collecting chamber, the lower part of the pressure vessel being designed as a bunker, having an outlet providing a direct and continuous junction to the supply connection and an upper part designed as a gas space. The collecting chamber may include a central displacement body which forms the annular gap with the common wall and which may be an upwardly tapering cone which projects out of the collecting chamber.

    • The invention concerns a process for the production of pig iron with the help of blast furnaces or other suitable devices in which iron-containing materials are reduced and melted in the presence of fuels. According to the invention, metallurgical coke can (be replaced) by cheaper organic exchange fuels, with the help of a coupling of a multi-step process for the gasification of the replacement fuels to reduction gas and coke with a blas furnace process to which the products of the gasification process are supplied together or separately at the height of the tuyeres or via these into a heating. The gasification process is also used for the pre-reduction of iron oxides, fine ore and ore concentrate.

    • A process for continuous conveying of a fine-grained and/or pulverized solid to two or more target points by a conveying medium, e.g. gas. The solid is charged into a distribution vessel and from there to several target points by respective supply lines each at a desired target flow rate intended for target point. The target flow rate for each target point is divided into at least two partial target flow rates from the distribution vessel via separate partial supply lines. The partial target flow rates are reunited at the respective target points at the latest. To adjust the target flow rate at a target point at a specific level, individual partial supply lines leading to this target point are alternatively kept shut-off or open.
