摘要： The invention provides an efficient method for controlling the flow rate of a particulate material through a pneumatic transportation pipe at a preset value with a high accuracy and rapid response to an external disturbance added to the system by controlling the flow rate of the booster gas. Different from conventional methods in which the flow rate of the booster gas is controlled with the feedforward factor of the variation in the actual flow rate of the particulate material, the inventive method utilizes the variation in the pressure in the receiving unit as the feedback to control the flow rate of the booster gas so that the above mentioned advantages are obtained in the accuracy of control and rapidness of the response to an external disturbance.

摘要： An apparatus is presented for the pneumatic injection of pulverulent materials into a pressurized vessel, comprising a storage silo, a distribution silo, a series of metering devices for extracting the pulverulent materials from the distribution silo, pneumatic conveying pipes connecting each of the metering devices to the vessel, and also a device for the automatic transfer of the pulverulent material from the storage silo (which is under substantially atmospheric pressure) to the distribution silo in which a pressure higher than that in vessel prevails. An important feature of the present invention is the presence of two intermediate silos each connected via automatic valves, upstream to the storage silo and, downstream, to the distribution silo; and by a pressurizing circuit connecting a source of inert gas under pressure through automatic valves to each of the intermediate silos.

摘要： A device for introducing dosed quantities of pulverized solid materials into a carrier gas stream is presented. The device is particularly suitable for injecting solid fuels into a shaft furnace during metal refining. The device comprises a housing which defines a flow chamber in the axial direction for the flow of pressurized fluid or carrier gas. The housing also has a side aperture therethrough. The side aperture is connected to a container holding pulverized materials. Coaxial inner and outer sleeves, at least one of which is capable of rotation, are located within the housing. The outer sleeve communicates with the aperture while the inner sleeve has an axial bore which provides a passage for the carrier gas. Upon rotation of a sleeve, slots provided on each sleeve will align and overlap with each other and with the aperture to define a variable sized passage between the container and axial bore whereby the pulverized material is delivered therethrough to the carrier gas stream.

摘要： A method of adjusting the mass stream and flow density of a finely divided, fine-grained solid fuel is described. The method uses a dosing container having a fluidized bed at its bottom part and into which the solid fuel is charged above the fluidized bed. A fluidizing gas is adjustably fed to the bottom part of the container and a compensation gas is fed to the upper part of the latter. Mass stream parameters and density are measured in the discharge or supply pipe communicating with the fluidizing bed and the required weight of flow of the fluidizing gas is computed by a computer. In this manner, the regulation of the mass stream is effected by adjusting the loose density of the charge of the dusty material in the container.

摘要： A mass stream of a dusty solid fuel is conveyed pneumatically through a supply pipe leading from a dosing container to a gasification reactor. A gas admixing device is connected in series with the supply pipe near the outlet of the container for injecting an auxiliary gas into the mass stream. The parameters of the mass stream are measured before and after the mixing device and applied to a computer which determines the amount of the injected gas and the value of the mass stream. In this manner, the arrangement for measuring the gas stream can operate continuously and independently from the technology of feeding the dust to the supply pipe and provides quantitatively correct measuring values at all dust concentrations and system pressures. The method eliminates complicated velocity measurements in two-phase dust streams and does not necessitate any measuring probes which project into the conveying channel and obstruct the flow.

摘要： An apparatus for supplying stationary small- to medium-sized heating plant with flowable solid fuel such as coal dust or coal breeze has a vacuum conveyor running from a fuel storage container of the apparatus to the heating plant for transporting the fuel from the container to the boiler. The blower of the conveyor has an aspiration port joined up with the container. The container has flexible walls of textile material and has an air blow-off line and a filter sheet for separating the coal dust from any coal dust-air mixture produced. This design makes it possible for the heating plant to be run automatically with the least leakage of dust and volatile substances out into the air.
