    • A waterproof rolling paper dispensing apparatus which comprises an inner cylinder which is closed at one end and open at an opposite end thereof. The inner cylinder has an elongate slit and supports a cutting edge which facilitates cutting of a length of rolling paper from a continuous roll of rolling paper accommodated within the inner cylinder. An exterior housing is dosed at one end and open at an opposite end thereof. The exterior housing defines an internal storage compartment which stores the inner cylinder. An end cover releasably engages with the open end of the exterior housing and forms a waterproof seal therewith. The end cover also releasably engages with the open end of the inner cylinder so that when the end cover is removed from engagement with the exterior housing, the inner cylinder remains coupled to the end cover and is removed with the end cover.

    • A coffee filter roll is disclosed herein. The coffee filter roll includes a plurality of coffee filters successively arranged in a roll configuration, each of the plurality of coffee filters being detachably coupled to one another and including a plurality of fold lines configured to facilitate an insertion of each of the plurality of coffee filters into a coffee filter basket of a coffee maker; and a plurality of lines of weakness, each of the plurality of lines of weakness being disposed between adjacent coffee filters in the coffee filter roll. Each coffee filter is configured to be separated from the coffee filter roll by tearing the coffee filter being removed from the adjacent coffee filter in the coffee filter roll along at least one of the plurality of lines of weakness. A coffee filter dispensing system and a method of dispensing rolled coffee filters is also disclosed herein.

    • The method serves for producing network-like metal mats from metallic strip material, for which purpose the strip material is first provided with notches (2), running parallel to one another, for the forming of metal wires (1), by means of notching rollers. The notches (2) are thereby formed to such depths, depending on the material, that as far as possible no sliding fractures are formed. The notches (2) are interrupted by unnotched regions—the mutual spacing of which in the respective notch (2) determines the later possible mesh width—at least in such a way that they later form network nodes (4). The network nodes (4) are offset by approximately half a network node spacing in the respectively adjacent notches (2). Then, the strip, formed in this manner, is subjected to a flexing process, in which the webs (3) adjoining the base of the notch and still connecting the metal wires (1) to one another undergo multiple bending deformation about the longitudinal axis thereof in such a way that incipient cracks occur as a result of fatigue fracture. This leads to the complete separation of the metal wires (1) in the region of the webs (3), while no incipient cracks form at the network nodes (4). Finally, the strip material is subjected to transverse tensile forces acting on both its peripheral metal wires (1), whereby a widening deformation of the wire strip (5) into a network-like structure takes place.
