摘要： Water-dispersible polymeric material such as polyesters and poly(ester-amides) containing water-solubilizing sulfonate groups and having reacted onto or into the polymer backbone from about 0.01 to about 40 mol % based on the total of all reactant hydroxy, carboxy or amino equivalents, of colorant comprising one or more heat stable organic compounds initially having one or more condensable groups, the polymeric material comprising the reaction residues of organic monomers and said colorant compounds containing one or more reactive groups condensable under polymerization conditions. This material is useful, for example, for printing inks or other coatings which are desireably applied from an aqueous system.

摘要： Disclosed are novel azo dyes containing an isothiazole azo moiety which may be substituted, and a heterocyclic coupler which also may be substituted. The dyes produce yellow shades on, for example, hydrophobic textile fiber including polyesters, polyamides, and cellulose esters and have excellent fastness properties including lightfastness, washfastness and resistance to sublimation, and dye at unusually low energy levels. The dyes have the general formulae: ##STR1## wherein the various substituents, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each selected from hydrogen and a wide variety of groups such as lower alkyl, --CN, halogen, and the like, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each selected from hydrogen, lower alkyl, benzyl and phenyl, and Z represents the atoms necessary to complete a five or six membered ring.

摘要： Azo compounds having the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is cyano, aryl, an acyl radical or a carbamoyl radical, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aralkyl or aryl, R.sup.3 is alkyl, halogen, thiocyanato, arylazo or one of the substituents which R.sup.1 can represent, and A is an aniline, tetrahydroquinoline, benzomorpholine or .alpha.-naphthylamine disperse azo dye coupling component. The azo compounds produce red to blue shades on polyamide, polyester and cellulose acetate fibers and exhibit improved fastness and dyeability properties on synthetic polyamide fibers.

These amines may be substituted with a large variety of groups including lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, cyano, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl, and halogen. These dyes have excellent dyeing properties on polyamide fibers and also impart color to cellulose acetate fibers and wool.
