An image forming apparatus body is configured such that the cartridges are attachable to first- to fourth-stage image forming sections. When the cleanerless cartridge is attached to the first- to fourth-stage image forming sections, an image forming operation is controlled under an image formation condition for a cleanerless process. When the cleaner-equipped cartridge is attached to the first- to fourth-stage image forming sections, an image forming operation is controlled under an image formation condition for a cleaner-equipped process.

摘要： An input device is provided that has: a flexible upper sheet provided with a resistive film formed on a lower surface thereof, and a lower substrate that is provided with a resistive film formed on an upper surface thereof. The upper and lower substrate have a gap. such that, when a point on an operation region of the upper sheet is pressed toward the lower substrate, a planar coordinate of the pressed point is detected. A pair of lower electrodes are provided on the resistive film formed on the lower substrate in a direction from one side surface of the lower substrate toward the other side surface opposite to the one side surface. The side surfaces have inclined surfaces, such that a width between the side surfaces and gradually narrows along a direction from the upper surface of the lower substrate toward a lower surface thereof.

摘要： A cartridge is set in a printer main unit, and has a remaining toner measurer which measures toner in a toner chamber upon setting of the cartridge. A cartridge memory stores information of a remaining toner amount measured previously. CPU compares the remaining toner amount measured newly with the remaining toner amount measured previously and read from the cartridge memory. If there is an increase in the toner, the cartridge is determined as improper cartridge reloaded with the toner. An alarm signal is generated. Also, printing is inhibited. In another preferred embodiment, shortage information is assigned to the cartridge upon using up the toner. The cartridge, if it has the shortage information, is determined as improper. If a characteristic of the toner is not within a reference range, the cartridge is determined improper. In another preferred embodiment, an upper limit of the number of times of toner reloading is predetermined. The cartridge is determined improper if the reloading time number comes up to the upper limit. The improper cartridge is set in a state in which operation is inhibited. Also, when the cartridge is disassembled, the improper cartridge is inhibited from operating.

摘要： In an electron beam lithography apparatus, when a plotting pattern is an isolated fine pattern, an exposure energy upon plotting lacks. In the prior art set forth above, dimension dependent exposure energy correction is performed as a measure, however, a problem is encountered in that excessive exposure is caused in regions where the exposure area ratio is high. The present invention solves the problem in the foregoing prior art and provides an electron beam lithography apparatus and a lithography method using an electron beam which achieves good plotting dimension accuracy even for a fine pattern plotting where regions having different exposure area ratios are present in an admixing manner. Additionally, the present invention has a construction to incorporate dimension dependent correction by taking a forward scattering diameter as a reference dimension to establish an effective backward scattering coefficient; to perform correction of an exposure energy using the effective backward scattering coefficient and an exposure area ratio.
