    • A carburetor includes a base, a Venturi cone assembly, a cam assembly, a horsepower adjustment assembly, and a vacuum horsepower adjustment valve. The Venturi cone assembly is mounted in the base. A supporting portion of a cone collides with a cam of the cam assembly. An oil line rotation wheel of the horsepower adjustment assembly is drawn by an oiling line to drive the fan blade. The amount of displacement of the cone of the Venturi cone assembly under vacuum suction from the engine is controlled by a cam of the cam assembly. The vacuum horsepower adjustment valve automatically supplies enough fuel to the engine. Accordingly, the present invention can make the fuel burn sufficiently, effectively improving efficiency and reducing air pollution.

    • A jet control type carburetor according to the present invention includes an intake pipe having an intake passage formed in an inner wall thereof, the intake passage allowing an intake air to flow therethrough; a venturi provided in the intake pipe, for controlling flow velocity and pressure of the intake air in the intake passage; a fuel nozzle opened into the intake passage and connected to a fuel supply source through a fuel passage for sucking the fuel within the intake passage from the fuel nozzle in order to introduce the mixture of air and fuel within the intake passage; a throttle valve provided downstream of the venturi, for controlling the flow rate of the mixture of intake air and fuel; a control air nozzle opened into the intake passage and connected to an air supply source through a control air passage for jetting the flow of the control air to the fuel spurted from the fuel nozzle to afford the kinetic energy of the control air to the fuel; and a throttle means provided upstream of the control air nozzle in the control air passage, for controlling the flow rate of the control air. The control air nozzle has a predetermined inner diameter (d.sub.a) and is provided at a portion apart from the fuel nozzle with a predetermined spacing (W), and a dimensional relationship of the spacing W between the fuel nozzle and the control air nozzle to the inner diameter (d.sub.a) of the control air nozzle is set as follows:W/d.sub.a .ltoreq.20.

    • Disclosed herein is a carburetor including a housing having a throat, means for supplying fuel to the throat intermediate its opposite ends, the fuel supplying means including a tube extending into the throat and including a plurality of fuel supply openings spaced along its length. A pivotable throttle member is positioned in the throat intermediate its opposite ends and is pivotable between a fluid flow restricting position and an open position. The pivotable throttle member includes a cam surface. The carburetor is also constructed such that an increased number of the openings supply fuel to the throat as the throttle member pivots from a fluid flow restricting position to an open position and the openings are closed as the throttle member pivots from an open position to a fluid flow restricting position. This is accomplished by a sleeve surrounding the tube and supported for slidable movement on the tube, and a cam follower engaging the cam surface, the cam follower carrying the sleeve whereby the sleeve is slideable on the tube in response to movement of the cam surface with respect to the cam follower.

    • Means are disclosed for an improved carburetor wherein fuel is atomized for carburetion purposes by being pumped through a tube having a plurality of perforations in its periphery. The tube is covered by sleeves which telescope over it; and in reaction to either depression or release of the accelerator, the sleeves will move along the tube to either uncover or cover more or less of the holes, as desired. In this way, a more completely atomized fuel mixture is delivered to the carburetor under high pressure for improved efficiency. Tension means are also provided to return the sleeves to their normal or "idle" position following release of the accelerator.
