摘要： A floor strip for bridging a join between two floor coverings that border on one another comprises a base profile that can be fixed in place on the floor, two upwardly extending shanks molded on the base profile, and a cover profile having at least one cover wing that projects laterally. There is a downwardly directed crosspiece, which is connected with the base profile by way of an articulation. The articulation is formed by an articulation rail that is rounded on both sides and grasped between the shanks of the base profile. The shanks are upright but rounded on the inside. The articulation rail is formed by a solid material or by a sleeve, which has a longitudinal groove, into which the crosspiece and/or an attachment means that engages through the cover profile passes. In certain sections, the longitudinal groove passes completely through the articulation rail, and the crosspiece of the cover profile has a greater depth in these regions.

The assembly further includes a gap formed between the upright member of the first clip member and the upright member of the second clip member. In one aspect the clip assembly includes a base which allows the assembly to slide.

摘要： Disclosed herein are panelized wall systems and methods for their construction, wherein the wall systems have elastomeric joints that are resistant to cracking. The walls are constructed with trough-edge building panels. The trough-edge building panels are preferably fiber cement. The front surface of each panel has a trough adjacent to an edge of the panel. Panels are fastened to a frame with the trough-edges adjacent to each other. A joint tape is applied to the seam between the panels such that the edges of the joint tape fall within the troughs of the adjacent panels. The wall is then finished with an elastomeric finish.

摘要： A ridge vent for tile roofing includes a vent member attached to a longitudinally extending ridge member and extending over at least a portion of a longitudinally extending vent opening. The vent member includes a number of passageways that connect the vent opening to the ambient atmosphere. A layer of air-permeable and moisture-resistant material covers the vent member so that air from the vented space passes through the material layer. Moisture from outside the structure coming into contact with the material layer is repelled. In one embodiment, the material layer provides a form for a sealing layer of mortar or mastic between the tile and the vent member preventing mortar from flowing into the vent opening. In another embodiment, flexible flashing material is used to provide a sealing structure between the tile and the vent member.
