    • An improved movable buckle structure, wherein its male connector and female connector are made of metal, is characterized in that two pivotal connecting bases and a guiding block are integrally coupled and disposed at the front lateral side of the male connector, and two concave grooves are disposed between the inner side of the two pivotal connecting bases and the outer side of the guiding block for embedding two elastic brackets, fixing in position, and providing elasticity.     • The present invention relates to a buckle assembly for use in a restraint system for protecting a vehicle passenger during a crash event. The buckle assembly includes a connector, an airbag buckle and a means for ensuring that the connector may only be inserted into an airbag buckle and that the connector may only be inserted into an airbag buckle in a single orientation. The connector includes a mechanical stop with an offset edge. This offset edge must engage within a clearing slot located within the airbag buckle in order for the connector to latch into the airbag buckle. Latching of the connecting element with other non-airbag buckles or with the air bag buckle when the connector is not in the proper orientation is thus prevented.

    • A seat restraint buckle assembly for a seat restraint system in a vehicle includes a rigid frame having an open forward end defining a passage to receive a latch plate. The seat restraint buckle assembly also includes a locking member operatively connected to the frame and pivotal between a latched position in which the locking member retains the latch plate within the passage and an unlatched position in which the locking member is held clear of the passage. The seat restraint buckle assembly includes a release button slidably mounted on the frame above the passage for longitudinal movement relative to the frame. The seat restraint buckle assembly further includes a blocking lever operatively connected to the frame and pivotal to contact the locking member and urging the locking member towards the latched position. The seat restraint buckle assembly also includes a spring disposed between the blocking lever and the release button to rotate the blocking lever to lock-up the locking member in the latched position.

    • An assembly of a buckle mechanism and blade. The buckle mechanism includes a housing surrounding a guide supported by a base. The guide engages a fastening surface of the blade with the lock surface of a projection of the base and has at least one wall defining a void, which is positionable in a first position so that the projection occupies at least a portion of the void and a second position so that the projection is disengaged from the void. The base has a surface and a projection extending away from the surface. A biasing member locates the guide to a first position in which the blade engages the projection and opposes movement of the guide to a second position in which the blade disengages from the projection. The blade is secured to and released from the buckle mechanism by inserting the blade into the guide; engaging the fastening surface of the blade with the lock surface of the projection; moving the fastening surface of the blade by the guide in a first direction substantially oblique to the planar surface to disengage the fastening surface of the blade from the lock surface of the projection; and removing the blade from the guide in a second direction substantially parallel to the planar surface of the base.

    • A buckle which is used to removably fasten two pieces of webbing, strap or the like together requires two distinct actions for its opening and thus is “double locking.” A latch member is pivotally supported on a frame by means of a support shaft. A first strap end is fixedly attached to one end of the frame. A second strap end to be attached to the first strap end is removably attached to one end of an adjuster member. The other end of the adjuster member is T-shaped. The frame has a pair of opposing ledge portions which extend opposite the base portion of the frame, opposing slots being formed between these portions. The top of the “T” of the adjuster member fits into the slots to retain the adjuster member to the frame when tension is placed on the second strap end portion thereby providing a first locking action. The latch member has a detent formed thereon which engages a detent on the end of the ledge portion of the frame. The latch member further has side walls with slots formed therein which engage the ends of the top of the “T” of the adjuster member. The adjuster member is thus held to the frame when there is no tension on the straps, to provide the second locking action.
