The device can also comprise a button contact feature. The device can be inserted over a buckle with the button contact feature over a buckle release button, and the device used to assist engagement of the buckle release button by a person operating the device. A system can comprise a device and various additional features or accessories.

摘要： Web connectors for use in occupant restraint systems in a vehicle are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, first and second web connectors include first and second web receiving portions, respectively. The first web receiving portion includes a first projection at a first side and a first recess adjacent a second side opposite the first side. The first recess includes a first surface feature. The second web receiving portion includes a second recess and a second projection having a second surface feature. In this embodiment, the second recess is configured to receive the first projection, the first recess is configured to receive the second projection, and the first surface feature is configured to engage the second surface feature to resist movement between the first and second connectors during use.

摘要： A seat belt buckle device in which the jumping or roll-over height of a counterweight is decreased allowing the seat belt buckle device to be reduced in size. The seat belt buckle device includes an outer case into which a tongue plate is inserted, a latch member that latches the tongue plate, a slideable release button, and a counterweight that resists sliding of the release button. The counterweight includes a shaft that engages a bearing groove formed in the release button and receives the force that rotates the counterweight due to the sliding of the release button. The rotating shaft has a recessed portion in its outer circumferential surface with this portion being configured to come into contact with the bearing groove of the release button when the release button slides into the outer case.

摘要： When a pretensioner is activated, a buckle main body experiences abrupt acceleration in a direction toward webbing. An inertial amass body of a stopper member is then rotated toward a frame member against an urging force of a torsion spring urged through a lever member. Further, the lever member abutting on the stopper member is also rotated toward the frame member, making each projecting piece face each abutment portion of a slide button. Further, when the slide button is slidingly moved against an urging force of a button spring, each abutment portion makes contact with each projecting piece of the lever member, stopping the slide movement of the slide button. Thus, unintentional disengagement between a latch and a tongue plate can be prevented.
