摘要： A sound-absorbing material has a membrane having multiple piezoelectric fibers, the fiber density of the membrane is below 50 g/m2, the thickness of the membrane is below 1 mm, sound-absorbing coefficient of the membrane is larger than 0.1 at absorbing frequency at 100 Hz+/−10%, and the sound-absorbing coefficient of the membrane is over 0.05 at absorbing frequency at 800 Hz to 1000 Hz. PVDF electrospinning nanofiber membranes of the present invention are thinner and more flexible compared to conventional sound-absorbing material, the membranes in the present invention performs excellent low frequency sound absorption with very thin membrane.

When the cover is used alone it engages a frame or a wall circumscribing the access opening. The cover is sized and shaped to close a stairwell, or the opening at one end of a stairway, an opening in a generally vertical wall, a hatch, or a pull down ladder. The closure and frame are each made of one or more components.

摘要： A composition includes glass fibers and a polyether antistatic agent. The polyether antistatic agent has a molecular weight of less than about 2000, or less than about 1000. Exemplary polyether antistatic agents include polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, a glycerol polyether, and combinations thereof. The polyether antistatic agent has a viscosity of less than about 600 cSt at 75° F., or less than about 200 cSt at 75° F. The composition may further include a solvent for the polyether antistatic agent; the solvent may include one or more organic soluble electrolytes, water or a combination thereof. Exemplary organic soluble electrolytes include calcium acetate, lithium acetate, an amine acetate, sodium benzoate, and combinations thereof. The composition may be used in various insulation applications, including in an insulation batt, insulation roll, insulation board, insulation pipe or unbonded glass fiber insulation. Methods for making glass fibers for use in insulation and methods for installing unbonded glass fiber insulation are also described.

摘要： A new prefabricated wall panel is the basic unit of a new, more efficient and stronger wall system. The wall panel is manufactured from a plurality of foam sections sized to leave vertical and horizontal voids into which concrete is later poured, each foam section having an inner and outer surface and two sides; and a plurality of fastening strips. The fastening strips are longitudinal metal strips being situated between the sides of two foam sections. Each fastening strip has two longitudinal fastening strips projecting perpendicularly to the longitudinal fastening strip and the fastening strips being adjacent to the outer surface of the two foam sections. The fastening strip also has a plurality of clearance holes in the longitudinal fastening strip, a plurality of embed tabs projecting from the edge opposite the fastening strips, each embed tab having at least one hole, and between each pair of embed tabs, a foam tab to hold the two inner sides of the foam sections in place and partially separate the foam sections from the concrete to be poured into a form.
