摘要： There is provided a ceiling panel for a pod room. The ceiling panel comprises one or more cover components movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration; and an actuation mechanism configured to move the one or more cover components from the closed configuration to the open configuration in response to a trigger. The ceiling panel may provide a specified percentage open area in the open configuration. The ceiling panel may be adapted to acoustically insulate the pod room in the closed configuration.

摘要： A method for installation of ceiling tiles in an improved mounting hook assembly to form a concealed grid system, the mounting hook assembly being attachable to a mounting stud (1) having recess on top portion to accommodate screws and fixed at the back of each tiles. The method includes attaching the mounting hook assembly to the tile; rotating a load bearing lever member; rotating a positioning lever member to position the load bearing member on a flange of a T grid bar; and fixing the tile below the T grid at a distance that is greater than the thickness of the tile so that when the tile is lifted up, the load bearing lever are returned to a position above the flange level of the T grid and any tile can be removed or installed in totally concealed grid system without dislocating tiles already laid.

The invention consists of a construction material which incorporates hinged or folding door(s) or flap(s) which contain a fire retardant substance within the construction material. When an uncontrolled fire is detected, the door(s) or flap(s) open and thus deploy the fire retardant substance onto the area affected by the uncontrolled fire.

摘要： An integrated ceiling and light system that incorporates a light module into a ceiling tile. The system may include a grid support system suspended from an overhead support structure that includes at least one grid support element and first and second ceiling tiles supported by the grid support element in an adjacent manner. A nesting cavity may be formed into the first and second ceiling tiles such that a light module may be disposed within the nesting cavity and coupled to the first and second ceiling tiles. The ceiling tiles may be of the type that conceals the grid support element on which it is supported. In one alternative embodiment, the light module and a nesting region of the ceiling tile may include corresponding edge profiles to facilitate mating therebetween to enable coupling of the light source to the ceiling tile.
