摘要： A full face mask and snorkel can include a full face mask and a rigid snorkel attached to the side of the mask. The side location of the ridged snorkel avoids peripheral ducting of air around the full face mask. The full face mask includes a main peripheral full face seal coupled to the mask's rigid support structure. The full face mask includes a separation seal dividing the full face mask into at least an upper chamber. The snorkel is affixed to the side of the full face mask at a location proximate to where the separation seal meets the main seal. A full face mask and snorkel can also include an exhalation valve located within the snorkel and proximate to the mask so as to avoid a volume of respirated air within the snorkel from being reinhaled into the lower chamber of the full face mask.

摘要： A fastening buckle for fastening a snorkel to swimming goggles includes a strip-holding member and a snorkel-holding member. The strip-holding member has a resiliently depressible hanging section and has an outer surface formed with an inclined plane. The snorkel-holding member has a gripping portion laterally formed with a socket for receiving the hanging section of the strip-holding member. The socket has an outer wall formed with a cut-away section for abutting against a bottom edge of the hanging section. The socket further has a resiliently depressible pressing button that is extending downward from a top thereof so as to hang over the cut-away section and abut against the inclined plane of the hanging section. When pressed, the pressing button presses the inclined plane to expel the hanging section downward from the cut-away section, allowing convenient disengagement between the snorkel-holding member and the strip-holding member.

摘要： Positive locking device for components of snorkels and other equipment such as diving regulators, buoyancy compensator hoses and the like. The locking device in a preferred embodiment comprises a hard plastic C-shaped ring or clamp which is preferably mechanically and/or chemically bonded into a soft plastic component connector during molding of that component. The ring or clamp provides an effective locking feature which prevents inadvertent demating of components during a dive or other activity that could otherwise result in a dangerous loss of function. An additional embodiment of the invention provides an optional indexing feature which serves the useful function of audible and tactile feedback during adjustment of components having the locking device.
