摘要： A display apparatus for an injection molding machine which permits setting items unalterable during operation of the injection molding machine to be identified on the screen. When the injection molding machine is not in operation, the setting items on the screen are shown in a normal first display appearance. During operation of the machine, unalterable setting items, among the setting items on the screen, are shown in a second display appearance to be distinguished from the first display appearance. Since setting items that are normally alterable but should not be altered during operation of the injection molding machine are displayed in the second display appearance in a distinguishable manner, such setting items can be clearly identified, thus improving operability.

The screw overruns for some distance before its rotation stops after it retreats and stops at the preset metering completion position. A resin quantity for the overrun is corrected to obtain a preset metered resin quantity by reversely rotating the screw by a rotational amount corresponding to the overrun.

摘要： A plastic injection molding machine has an object oriented programmed routine to control the molding cycle of the machine. The programmed routine implements the inter-related molding cycle of clamp, inject, hold, eject and recover by development of classes corresponding to machine structure performing basic molding cycle steps. The basic classes use object oriented concepts of data encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction and the like that are linked together to produce objects during run time. The classes in turn include controller, observer and actuators classes. The controller class functions as a state machine. The observer class functions to determine the current state and the actuator class produces command signals controlling class related machine hardware. A modeling system is also disclosed for constructing the OO programmed routine for any injection molding machine using existing classes, principally by difference.
