    • A rotatable slide hinge has a stationary leaf, a moving leaf, a spring, a pivot pin assembly and a guide pin assembly. The stationary leaf has a top and a bottom. The moving leaf is mounted on the bottom of the stationary leaf, sliding and turning relative to the stationary leaf and has a top surface. The spring is attached to the top of the stationary leaf and has a stationary end and a moving end. The pivot pin assembly connects the stationary leaf and the moving leaf and allows the moving leaf to slide relative to the stationary leaf. The guide pin assembly extends through the moving end of the spring, the stationary leaf and the moving leaf to connect the stationary leaf, the spring and the moving leaf and allows the moving leaf to slide and turn relative to the stationary leaf.

    • Disclosed are a hinge assembly and a mobile device having the hinge assembly. In the mobile device, a rotation portion 14 slides and rotates on a base portion 10, so as to be inclined to the base portion 10. For this reason, the rotation portion 14 is connected to the base portion by means of the hinge assembly 20 so as to slide and rotate on the base portion 10. The rotation portion 14 slides on the base portion by a predetermined distance, and then rotates to be inclined at a desired angle with respect to the base portion 10. The rotation portion 14 easily rotates with respect to the base portion of the mobile device, so that the status of the mobile device can be easily converted. Further, when the status of the mobile device is converted, the front, rear, left and right of a display screen is not changed. As a result, the mobile device should not have a structure of changing a display direction of the display screen. Further, there is an advantage in that an electric connection between the base portion and the rotation portion by means of a connection link mechanism can be stably achieved.

A pressing lever presses the guide-groove engaging portion with resilient force of a resilient member. The guide-groove includes a parallel groove formed in parallel with a direction of movement of the slider; and a curved groove having a width narrower than that of the parallel groove and being connected to the parallel groove. The guide-groove engaging portion moves in the parallel groove by the movement of the slider and a pressing force of the pressing lever.

    • A flush mounted hinge assembly for use in applications where the hinges are to be fully concealed and where the doors abut one another or an adjacent structural member, includes a cabinet mounted bracket, a door mounted bracket, and a housing pivotally mounted to the cabinet bracket. The movement of the door accomplished in two stages, with initial pivoting being handled by a parallelogram-type linkage interconnecting the housing with the door mounted bracket, and permitting initial outward movement of the door to clear the adjacent door or abutting cabinet structure. Subsequently, as the door opens wider, a control member attached to the parallelogram linkage permits relative movement of the housing and the cabinet mounted bracket member, to permit full pivoting of the housing relative to the cabinet bracket, under control of a cam and cam follower linkage associated with the parallelogram mounting, following initial restraint of the housing against pivoting while the door is at a relatively small angle relative to the cabinet. To permit final movement of the door at angles between 90 degrees and 180 degrees, the pivot point of at least one of the parallelogram members may be permitted to shift, while the entire door continues to rotate to an additional angular orientation. The pivot point is arranged so that at limited angles is restrained from any lateral shifting, whereas beyond a certain angular orientation, the pivot point may shift laterally.
