    • Embodiments generally relate to hinge mechanisms. Many of the hinge mechanism embodiments may be used in foldable furniture. The foldable furniture may be a foldable seat or table. The hinge mechanism may include a central cylinder with a body defining a hinge axis. The central cylinder may have rotate channel(s) transverse to the hinge axis and locking channels extending axially from the rotate channel(s). Collar(s) may couple with the central cylinder and may include pin(s) that protrude inwardly into the rotate channel(s) and locking channel(s) of the central cylinder. In some embodiments, an intermediate cylinder may be disposed between the central cylinder and the collar(s). The intermediate cylinder may have slots corresponding to the rotate channel(s) of the central cylinder. When pin(s) and locking channel(s) are aligned, the central lock cylinder may move axially to lock the collars in a desired angular position (e.g., a deployed or folded configuration).

    • Embodiments of the present invention disclose a track guided hinge assembly for a portable electronic device. According to one embodiment, the portable electronic device includes a base housing and a panel configured to cover a top surface of the base housing. A first mounting bracket having a first guide track is mounted within the base housing. A second mounting bracket having a second guide track is positioned adjacent to the first mounting bracket. Furthermore, the portable electronic device includes a panel bracket member including a hinge pivot shaft that extends perpendicularly therefrom and configured to follow the second guide track, and a guide plate having a guide pin extending perpendicularly therefrom and configured to follow the first guide track. When the panel pivots and rotates away from the base housing, the guide pin moves along the first guide track simultaneously as the pivot shaft moves along the second guide track.

    • A hinge mechanism has at least one hinge assembly, a rail assembly and a sliding bracket. The hinge assembly has a hinge and a lifting seat. The hinge is adapted to pivotally connect a cover and a base of an electronic device. The lifting seat is attached to the cover and has a recess. The rail assembly has at least one rail seat having a rail slot. The sliding bracket is adapted to be deposited an input unit, is movably mounted between the hinge assembly and the rail assembly and has at least one upper sliding shaft and at least one lower sliding shaft. The upper and lower sliding shafts are respectively mounted in the recess and the rail slot. A side of the sliding bracket would be elevated by the lifting seat to allow the sliding bracket to be inclined to the cover, whereby the input unit is convenient for use.
