    • An arm rest for arrangement at a seat or a seat bench in a vehicle, includes at least one bracket fastenable to the seat or the seat bench. A bearing shaft is swivelably mounted to the bracket in at least one swivel bearing. The bearing shaft is supported at the bracket so as to be displaceable along a trajectory between an upper functional position and a lower functional position. A support element is connected to the bearing shaft at least at one fastening point in a rotationally fixed manner. The support element can be swiveled between a swiveled-up rest position and a swiveled-down support position. A transmission mechanism is arranged between the support element and the bracket, wherein a swiveling movement of the support element is transmitted via the transmission mechanism to a displacing movement of the bearing shaft along the trajectory. Hereby, modularity of the arm rest is obtained, wherein the variation of the transmission mechanism permits the utilization of an identical support element for different support heights.

    • A main unit includes a slider and a guide groove. A display panel includes a slider engaging portion coupled to the slider being guided by the slider and a guide-groove engaging portion slidably engaged with the guide groove being guided by the guide-groove so that the display panel can be inclined. A pressing lever presses the guide-groove engaging portion with resilient force of a resilient member. The guide-groove includes a parallel groove formed in parallel with a direction of movement of the slider; and a curved groove having a width narrower than that of the parallel groove and being connected to the parallel groove. The guide-groove engaging portion moves in the parallel groove by the movement of the slider and a pressing force of the pressing lever.

    • A hinge includes a link with two lateral sides, and an assembly comprising a pair of side plates. Protruding from each lateral side of the link is a pair of parallel pins, and each side plate includes a pair of non-parallel guide slots. The assembly and the link are positioned such that each pin slidably engages one of the guide slots and the pins can simultaneously slide in their respective guide slots. Since the guide slots are non-parallel, when one pin is forced to slide in one direction, the other pin of the pair is forced to slide in a different direction, causing the assembly to both turn and translate with respect to the link.
