摘要： In this invention, when security policy is attached to a file, a device protection manager is given the protected file's name. If the file is a special device file, then the device manager records the device specification in a device database. When a device access occurs, the device specification is extracted from the special device file used in the access. This extracted device specification is then used to search the device database. If a matching device specification is found in the database and the accessed device file has the same name as the protected resource, then authorization policy rules on that resource determine the access. If the match is a different device file name from the protected file name for the same device, then the search continues until the exact accessed device is found or until all device specification matches are found. In the absence of an exact device file match, all the matching device files are presented to the external security manager for authorization checking and the most restrictive outcome prevails.

The control system includes a keypad for restricting operation of the machine to authorized users armed with knowledge of assigned access codes, while providing automated control of various machine components and systems. The system further includes electrical power output control for controlling power supplied to the machine and associated systems, a timer to limit operating time, and audio/visual warning beacons. Upon entering a security code, the control system functions to activate the machine by providing electrical power to any primary and secondary electric motors, lighting systems, power supply outlets, dust collection systems, and audio or visual safety warning systems. An internal timer disconnects the electrical power supply after a predetermined amount of time, e.g. 5 minutes, thereby insuring that the machine is not inadvertently left on.

摘要： A panel saw is adapted with an improved dust collection system including a protective blade cover having an oversized duct connected to a vacuum-type dust collection apparatus by a hose. The blade cover duct has an angled end configured to deflect and direct sawdust and wood chips downstream into the dust collection hose. A device that functions as both a guide and pulley is mounted to the top of the panel saw frame to allow the dust collection vacuum hose to travel over the frame in trailing relation with the carriage carrying the rotary power saw. The rotary power saw carriage is further adapted with a skirt attached in surrounding relation with the projecting saw blade and projecting therefrom in sweeping contact that defines a sawdust containment volume between the workpiece to be cut and the underside of the rotary saw power carriage. The panel saw frame is further adapted with a generally U-shaped sawdust channel connected thereto and disposed in vertical aligned relation with the saw blade so as to contain any sawdust projected behind the workpiece. A sawdust cup is connected to the bottom of the vertically disposed sawdust channel and functions as a catch basin for sawdust ejected into the channel. The sawdust cup includes a rearwardly projecting leg adapted for connection to a dust collection vacuum hose thereby providing the panel saw with a second dust collection connection.

摘要： New methods for diagnosis and treatment of human dormancy syndrome-related sequellae are provided. Human dormancy syndrome (HDS) is characterized by elevated serum ratio of rT3/fT3 compared to a population of normal subjects. HDS includes fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, cancer, autoimmune disease, obesity and related dormancy conditions. Dormancy and HDS-related sequellae are imposed on humans by infection with lipopolysaccharide (LPS; or endotoxin)-producing organisms, especially those that are intracellular and those that create antigens that stimulate the TLR pathways. In such instances, the elimination or neutralization of the LPS signal along with the infectious source is required to impact the sequellae of HDS. Treatment includes use of novel and non-obvious doses of antibiotics, optionally including agents that decrease the adverse effects of endotoxin.
