摘要： An improved seating system that includes a seat back assembly (10) that is fabricated to include a seat back (12) with first and second wall portions (14,16), and which may include an integrated reinforcement structure (18). The seating system is capable of either or both of withstanding without rupture at least about 11000 Newtons in the direction in which the seat back (12) faces in a plane, parallel to the longitudinal centerline of the vehicle or, upon rapid acceleration up to at least about 20 g, substantially no fragmentation of the seat back with at least a 30 kg mass placed behind the seat back.

摘要： The high current capabilities of a lateral npn transistor for application as a protection device against degradation due to electrostatic discharge (ESD) events are improved by adjusting the electrical resistivity of the material through which the collector current flows from the avalanching pn-junction to the wafer backside contact. As expressed in terms of the second threshold current improvements by a factor of 4 are reported. Two implant sequences are described which apply local masking and standard implant conditions to achieve the improvements without adding to the total number of process steps. The principle of p-well engineering is extended to ESD protection devices employing SCR-type devices.

摘要： A check service provider enables users to make and receive payments from a financial account via a mobile electronic device, such as a smartphone or tablet computer. The device includes a check module and a camera. A user can capture an image of a check using the camera and the check module deciphers information, such as an account number, bank routing number, and information regarding the account holder, from the image of the check. The user can then make payments from and receive payments into the financial account associated with the imaged check via the check module without having the physically write or deposit a check. The check service provider interacts with the ACH to settle payments directly between the user's accounts without handling the money. Users can be notified of pending payments via text, voice, and e-mail messaging.
