摘要： An occupant protection apparatus includes a driver. The driver includes a drive unit, a support shaft, a movable seat pan supported by the support shaft such that the movable seat pan is inclinable in a front-rear direction, a guide groove, a movement pin that is movable along the guide groove, a link that couples the movable seat pan to the movement pin, and an energy absorber. The guide groove includes a first guide groove portion in which the movement pin moves when the movable seat pan is inclined rearward and a second guide groove portion in which the movement pin moves when the movable seat pan is inclined forward. The energy absorber is configured to absorb at least part of a forward load from an occupant when the movement pin moves in the second guide groove portion.

摘要： A seat bottom assembly including a seat bottom frame having a front side and a back side, a seat plate having a front side and a back side, webbing stitches, and tear away stitches. The back side of the seat plate is coupled to the back side of the seat bottom frame. The webbing straps are coupled to and extending between the front side of the seat bottom frame and the front side of the seat plate, and tear away stitches connect two points of the webbing straps along a longitudinal axis so that the webbing straps are partially looped at locations of the respective tear away stitches. The tear away stitches separate and increase a length of the webbing straps in response to experiencing a threshold load in a direction perpendicular to the seat plate.

During a crash event the energy attenuating member is configured to collapse between the seat back and the frame backing member to absorb kinetic energy in the vehicle seat when the seat back is driven toward the frame backing member.

The linkage member (13) is configured to drive the engaging member (12) rotate downward.

A vehicle seat with a seat cushion and a seat back includes: right and left side frames 20 constituting right and left frames of the seat back; a pressure-receiving member 40 disposed between the right and left side frames 20 and configured to receive a load from an occupant; and a driving mechanism 50 disposed at each of right and left sides of the pressure-receiving member 40 and configured to cause a right end portion or a left end portion of the pressure-receiving member 40 to move from an initial position to an advanced position that is located frontward of the initial position or to move from the advanced position to the initial position, wherein the driving mechanism 50 includes a linkage (drive link member 100 and contact link member 200) configured to be connected to the pressure-receiving member 40 and a driving source 52 configured to actuate the linkage, and wherein the linkage is configured to operate when a load equal to or greater than a predetermined amount is input from the occupant to the pressure-receiving member 40 to cause the pressure-receiving member 40 to move to a backward position that is located rearward of the initial position.
