    • An optical continuous measuring apparatus for a reaction-liquid comprises: a microplate provided with a plurality of microcups arranged on a straight line at intervals of a certain distance; a rotary disc provided over the microplate so as to be rotatable, which disc is provided with suction nozzles in its outer periphery, which nozzles are sequentially inserted into the microcups upon rotation of the disc, and also provided with transparent measuring cells communicating therewith inward in radial direction of the disc; suction means for sucking the reaction-liquid received in the microcups from the microcups into the measuring cells through the suction nozzles when the suction nozzles of the rotary disc are inserted into the microcups; an optical measuring means for measuring the reaction-liquid received in the measuring cells; a supplying means for supplying a rinsing liquid to the measuring cells; and a discharging means for discharging the reaction-liquid and the rinsing liquid from the measuring cells.

    • A system for diagnosing an internal combustion engine. The system comprises: a control signal generating system for monitoring the operation of the engine, such ignition, and for generating a control signal; a driven system, such as a fuel injection system, operated in dependency on the control signal. A first diagnosis circuit is provided for diagnosis of the operation of the control signal generating system and for producing an output when trouble occurs in the system; and a second diagnosis circuit is provided for diagnosing the operation of the driven system and for producing an output when trouble occurs in the system. Results of diagnosis by the first and second diagnosis circuits are indicated by lamps. A logic gate is provided to be controlled by the output of the first diagnosis circuit so that the lamp for the second diagnosis circuit does not indicate trouble in the driven system.

    • A system for diagnosing a device such as a fuel pump of an internal combustion engine mounted on a vehicle. The system is provided with an engine operating condition detecting device, for example, engine speed detecting circuit for producing an output, a converter for converting the output to a control voltage, and a driver responsive to the control voltage for driving the device. In normal driving condition of the vehicle, the control voltage form the converter is fed to the driver passing through a first gate. The system further comprises a force-driving system for forcibly driving the device. The force-driving system comprises a manual operated terminal for applying a voltage, an oscillator for producing pulses, and a second gate responsive to the voltage from the terminal for controlling the pulses. The first gate is applied with the pulses and operates to pass the pulses in response to the level of the control voltage, whereby the device is driven by the pulses at a high frequency.

    • A satellite repeater for a digital satellite communication system for use on board of satellites. Receivers are provided with respective antennas for receiving radio-frequency signals from a plurality of ground stations. A signal processing circuit switches signals received in synchronism with stable clock timings. Transmitters receive the switched outputs of the signal processing circuit to provide radio-frequency signals for transmission through respective antennas of the transmitters. Timing detectors receive the outputs of the receivers and detect the frame timings of the output signals of the receivers. Signal storage circuits are provided between respective outputs of the receivers and the signal processing circuit for storing the respective output signals of the receivers by respective amounts. Control circuitry connected to the timing detectors, the signal storage circuits and the signal processing circuit control the storage operations of the signal storage circuits so that each of the frame timings of the received signals and the switching timing of the signal processing circuit have a desired timing relationship.
