    • An arrangement for fluid jet cutting, especially for food products, comprises a nozzle which is movable on a frame. The arrangement includes an angled pipe, one end of which is fixedly connected to and in fluid communication with one end of a hollow shaft of a reversible rotary motor. The other end of the hollow shaft is connected by means of a rotary coupling to a conduit for cutting fluid. The other end of the pipe is connected to the nozzle. A plant for fluid jet cutting, especially for food products comprises a belt conveyor for carrying the products, a device for analyzing quality and/or quantity characteristics of the products to be cut, and a device for controlling the operation of the fluid jet arrangement for cutting the products on the conveyor in response to commands from the analyzing device.

    • An inseparable railroad train unit comprises three cars and is adapted for use selectively as a self propelled unit and as an after-coupled unit in a passenger train of the through-passage type. At least the front end of the train unit has a central window equipped door, behind which a driver's desk is provided, and around the door opening is provided a forwardly protruding elastomeric gable member, which provides for an aerodynamically advantageous shape of the front. When the train unit is after-coupled to a similar unit, the driver's desk is stowed away laterally, and the front door is opened for providing the required through passage. The elastomeric gable member now acts as a sealing and shielding element surrounding the passageway between the car and the preceding car.

    • The present invention relates to the provision of genetically modified fungal cells, such as yeast cells with an improved ability for producing different fatty acids and specifically fatty acid ethyl esters (FAEE), the main components of biodiesel. An increased in fatty acid production, and hence in FAEE, is obtained in the first place by expressing different heterologous polypeptides in combination with the down-regulation, attenuation, deletion or over-expression of specially selected genes, wherein said genes encode enzymes involved in the fatty acids synthesizing pathway, fatty acid consuming pathways, carbohydrate biosynthesis pathways or enzyme acting as wax ester transporters or a combination thereof. The methods and products of the invention would allow large-scale production of FAEE with carbohydrates as the only externally-supplied substrate.
