摘要： A shift control system for a vehicular automatic transmission including a gear train to be set to a plurality of gear stages in accordance with the engaged or released states of a plurality of friction devices. The shift control system comprises: a mode selector for interchanging an automatic shift mode to effect a shift according to a first gear stage train, which is composed of a plurality of gear stages selected from those capable of being set with the gear train, a manual shift mode to effect a shift according to a second gear stage train, which is composed of other plural gear stages selected from those capable of being set with the gear train; an automatic shift output device for outputting a shift signal in accordance with the running state of the vehicle to set any of the gear stages of the first gear stage train when the automatic shift mode is selected; a gear stage selector for outputting an upshift signal and a downshift signal in response to the manual operations of upshift and downshift, respectively, when the manual shift mode is selected; a manual shift output device responding to the upshift signal and downshift signal outputted from the gear stage selector, for outputting a shift signal to select a gear stage from the second gear shift train and to set the selected gear stage; and a hydraulic controller for feeding/releasing an oil pressure to the friction devices to set the gear stage which is commanded by the shift signals outputted from the automatic shift output device and the manual shift output device.

摘要： A belt type continuously variable transmission in which a pulley shaft is supported by bearings provided at two positions that are apart from each other in an axial direction of the pulley shaft and a supply oil passage for supplying hydraulic fluid to a pulley hydraulic chamber includes a radial direction oil passage that is formed in the pulley shaft, the radial direction oil passage is formed on an outside of an area between the two positions. Also, one of the bearings is provided near the radial direction oil passage and on an outer surface side of a cylinder member whose inner surface side forms the pulley hydraulic chamber for a movable sheave that is fixed to the pulley shaft. With this structure, concentration of stress on the radial direction oil passage can be avoided, and therefore strength of the pulley shaft can be secured.

The gear ranges include a plurality of drive ranges and a parking range. A shift lever is arranged to move between a neutral position and a plurality of manipulation positions located about the neutral position. A restoration mechanism restores the shift lever to the neutral position. A first sensor electrically detects a manipulation performed to select one of the drive ranges. A second sensor electrically detects a manipulation performed to select the parking range. The first sensor detects toward which of the manipulation positions the shift lever is manipulated.

摘要： A control system is provided for servo hydraulic pressure in an automatic transmission having planetary gear mechanisms. First and second frictional engagement devices, whose servo pressures are reversed in feed/drain relationship between desired two high speed stages, are controlled by a shift valve and a directional control valve. The shift valve is switched by a first solenoid. The directional control valve is interposed in a servo hydraulic pressure feed/drain line communicating the shift valve with the first frictional engagement device and is controlled by a second solenoid. The first and second solenoids are controlled by an electronic control unit in accordance with a shift position detected by a detector, whereby the timings of feed or drain of the servo hydraulic pressures to or from the first and second frictional engagement devices are changed by predetermined relative amounts, respectively.

Shifting elements of the mechanisms can be connected to establish a different power flow in accordance with engagement or release of frictional engagement devices under the control of servo hydraulic pressure to achieve plural speed stages. The system comprises first and second frictional engagement devices engageable simultaneously in a reverse range, first and second servo pressure feed lines for feeding servo hydraulic pressure to the devices, a regulator valve disposed in the first line, a solenoid for controlling the valve, an electronic control unit for outputting a signal to the solenoid, and a detector for detecting shifting to the reverse range. The valve is controlled by the solenoid in accordance with an output from the unit upon detection of shifting to the reverse range by the detector, whereby engagement of the first device is coincided with that of the second device.
