摘要： An image-taking apparatus is disclosed which transforms a fisheye image into a perspective projection image and allows appropriate correction of image fluctuations with a reduced load of operation. The image-taking apparatus has an image-pickup element which photoelectrically converts a fisheye image and a transforming section which performs projective transformation processing of fisheye image data obtained by using the image-pickup element into perspective projection image data. The image-taking apparatus has a vibration detecting section which obtains vibration information about vibrations. The transforming section shifts a transformation area which is subjected to projective transformation processing in the fisheye image data based on the vibration information.

The controller is arranged to set the voltage to be output to the power receiving portion from one of the power generating power supply portions in accordance with the output voltage of the other of the power generating power supply portions. With this arrangement, the power receiving portion is prevented from being supplied with an excessive amount of power, and when power regeneration is being performed by the second power generating power supply portion, the regenerated power is effectively used. Thus, the fuel economy of the vehicle can be increased.

摘要： An onboard load control apparatus and a method for detecting a fault of an onboard electrical load with high accuracy are disclosed. The control apparatus comprises an onboard battery mounted on an automotive vehicle, an electrical heater for electrically heating an electrical load such as an electrically-heated catalyst supplied with power from the onboard battery, an auxiliary relay for turning on/off the power to the electrical heater from the onboard battery, and an ECU for controlling the on/off operation of the auxiliary relay. The apparatus further comprises an engine speed detector for detecting the engine speed of the internal combustion engine and a fault judgement unit for judging whether the electrical heater is normal or faulty on the basis of the fluctuation amount of the engine speed of the internal combustion engine detected by the engine speed detector before and after switching the auxiliary relay. A fault of the electrical load is judged by detecting the voltage across the onboard battery while taking the fluctuation amount of the same voltage into consideration. The apparatus further comprises a load condition holder for holding the load condition of a specific load while the engine speed or the battery voltage is detected.

摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a controller, for a combustion engine, having a simple structure and which can reduce the exhaust emissions at the engine start-up time. The controller comprises a means for decreasing the pressure in an intake air passage downstream of a throttle valve during the engine cranking operation. A controller comprises an air pump, a means for communicating an inlet of the air pump either to the atmosphere or to an intake air passage downstream of a throttle valve, and a means for changing the inlet of the air pump from the atmosphere to the intake air passage downstream of the throttle valve and to activate the air pump during the engine cranking operation. Another controller comprises a vacuum tank, for example, a brake-booster instead of the air pump that enables it to more quickly reduce the air pressure in the intake air passage downstream the throttle valve.
