    • A photographing number change-over device for a two lens camera having two photographing lenses equipped with shutters, respectively, is capable of photographing two pictures on a film. The photographing number change-over device comprises a driving member moving to two different positions alternately every time shutter charge is effected, a light cut-off plate rotatable about an axis substantially in parallel with optical axes of the photographing lenses, a regulating member engaging the light cut-off plate and detachably engaging the driving member for anchoring the light cut-off plate at either of first and second positions where the light cut-off plate shuts off either of the two photographing lenses and anchoring the light cut-off plate at a third position where the light cut-off plate shuts off neither of the two photographing lenses, and a change-over member for causing the regulating member and driving member to engage and disengage from each other. The photographing number change-over device further comprises a counter device for displaying the number of photographing times, which comprises a counter dial device for advancing and retracting marks one by one to be displayed in a counter window and respectively interlocking with the change-over member and the driving member, and a counter window opening member for concealing and revealing the marks to be displayed in the counter window interlocking with operations of the change-over member.

    • A circuit for reproducing informaiton signals and four different tracking control pilot signals recorded on respective tracks on a magnetic tape and producing from the pilot signals a tracking error signal indicative of a relative positional deviation between each of a plurality of magnetic heads and each track of the tape. The circuit includes a balanced modulation circuit for successively multiplying reproductions of the pilot signals and a reference signal to produce a multiplication output signal having components corresponding to the respective pilot signals. Respective tuning circuits derive first and second signals from the multiplication output signal, having different frequency components and corresponding to different ones of the pilot signals. A level comparison circuit compares the first and second signals in level to produce a level-compared output signal whose value is indicative of the relative levels of the first and second signals, the level-compared output signal having respective portions corresponding to successive periods of reproducing signals on tracks on which different ones of the pilot signals are recorded. A further portion of this circuit time-divisionally extracts the values of levels of the level-compared output signal. A further comparator calculates the values of the differences between at least two of the extracted level values to produce the tracking error signal. The circuitry eliminates any variations in the tracking error signal which may be caused by any variations in mechanical height of the magnetic heads.

    • A system for interconnecting with a single coaxial cable between an image pickup device such as a color television camera and a recording device such as a video tape recorder is provided. The camera signal is separated into the luminance signal which in turn is frequency modulated and two color signals which in turn are converted at a low frequency band lower than the lower sideband of the FM luminance signal. The FM luminance signal and the modulated color signal are multiplexed with the audio signal at the base band and transmitted on a single coaxial cable to the recording device. In the case of the high-density recording without the guard bands between the adjacent tracks, there is provided a means for maintaining the one-to-one correspondence between the rotating recording head and the processing of the modulated color signal which is varied for each track.

    • An equipment for recording and reproducing color television signals or VTR (video tape recorder) is combined with a color television receiver as a single unit in such a way that some of their circuits are used in common with both the VTR and receiver, whereupon the circuit design as well as operation may be greatly simplified. The VTR and receiver are operatively coupled to each other through a switch for selecting a recording or reproducing mode. In recording mode, the video signal, which is received and detected by the receiver, passes through the mode selction switch to the luminance signal processing circuit and the carrier chrominance signal processing circuit in the receiver. The separated luminance and chrominance signals are applied to the input terminal of the VTR so that they may be recorded while one is watching the picture on a picture tube. In the reproduction mode, the luminance and chrominance signals derived from the output of the VTR are added and applied to the input terminal of the processing circuits in the receiver through the mode selection switch so that they are processed in the signal processing circuits to reproduce the picture on the picture tube. In one embodiment of the present invention, the luminance and chrominance signals may be applied to their processing circuits, respectively, in the receiver through another selection switch. An APC type or a ringing type circuit is used for color synchronization. In order to minimize the effects caused by the jitter in the VTR, a feedback loop including the reproduction circuit of the VTR is provided. In the APC (automatic phase control) circuits, the crystal oscillator and/or LC oscillator are used.
